We stopped here, from out of town, based on the good reviews. I think the reviews all came from employees or family members. The gentleman that helped us was very nice and the restaurant was clean. This is a newer restaurant. The pizza is middle of the road, not great and not terrible. My father in law thought it was very good and my wife thought it was better than she expected, but still just OK. The wings were not fried, I don't think they were even baked. They could have been microwaved for all I know. My aunt ordered the spring rolls and they were fried so long, the insides were mush. The sofa was from cool bottles. There is no ice. We ate in. The plates were styrofoam and the silverware plastic.

I'm happily surprised about this gem of a restaurant. I spent most of chico passing this place when going to other restaurants but finally decided to go to this place check it out and honestly, pretty cool place. It felt uninviting at first seeing through the window is a pool table looks like a club or something lol but nah its chill I ordered a pizza called chicago's favorite, why? Because I noticed they had a deep dish option and I thought what better pizza to deep dish-afy than a chicago styled pizza? Overall, a really good pizza, savory, a pleasant aroma. A complaint tho, I was expecting a deep dish to be filled to the brim but it was just a medium pizza with the crusts pointing up. Also I wish the crust was more chewy Layout: I went in the morning and first thing you see is the giant pool table, hang out with friends to play pool, they got the sticks and balls on the wall Second thing I noticed, a tv playing a cartoon, throughout the morning, I realize they just play whatever, first a cartoon then a live action show Extra note: I couldnt finish the pizza so I brough it home and throughout the day, the aroma of the pizza wouldnt stop and I think that experience also inflated my view of this pizza, probably I asked for water, they didnt seem to have water cup and water dispenser so they gave me a bottled water and charged me, I asked it they had a water cup and they talked to each other for a bit, uncharged me and then left... so I took the bottled water for free and paid for pizza sounds like a good deal. Hee hee You can make any pizza flavor a deep dish, it just has to be medium or large size When the pizza came out, they offered ranch so I said sure, also offered parmesan, pepper flakes and a paper plate so yes kids, throughout the morning, I think the kids are related to the owners of the restaurant so maybe they're here often, playing with their marbles, you can hear the marbles being played with, I didnt mind As I looked up to the menu screen, the lady told me I could just grab a physical one, that was a lot better, I took pics of every page for yelp Also, what a beautiful menu, you can see it in the pics but I really like how attractive it is and how easy to navigate it is despite being creative with it's design Idk why there's 2 posts of the same velly pizza on yelp. I just picked to review the one with most reviews (2)

I asked the man on the phone what the “velli sauce” on the “velli pizza” listed on Uber eats tasted like. He kind of paused and then said he had to be right back and put me on hold. A minute later he replied that vellys pizza is actually chicagos pizza, which is a part of krispy krunchy chicken, and they just get the sauces and toppings from the velly’s franchise and cook it.I was confused but just replied “oh I understand. Do you at least know is it like a tomato sauce, bbq sauce, or something else?” And he said that every pizza they serve has a different sauce and they just cook the pizzas.He then tried to get me to order by reading my card number over the phone. I explained that I was using Uber eats because I have a gift card. He replied that I can order with Uber eats, or online on the velly pizza website, but not to use DoorDash because there is some issue and they won’t receive my order.I reiterated that I was using Uber eats to order because I had a gift card, as the man on the phone simultaneously tried cutting me off & encouraging me to order on the phone and they would deliver it themselves.By the end of the call, I had more questions than answers. I’m giving 5 stars because it was the oddest customer service interaction I’ve had in awhile, and the food at least sounds good, so i have high hopes.

I stopped by the new Velly Pizza and tried their chicken tikka pizza. It was amazing I loved it, I also noticed they have krispy krunchy chicken, which they make fresh after you order. definitely will be coming back to give it a try!! 10/10 there staff is also so incredibly nice.

I decided to try this place out last night and was happily surprised. I've never had Indian inspired pizza but we had the Butter Chicken Pizza and it was really good. It has a little spice to it but I think that should be expected with Indian cuisine. I look forward to trying out their other pizzas!
