The XLB and Pan Fried Pork Bun are real good. It's the best I had here, almost same as what I ate in Shanghai. Personal opinion it will be much better if the pork bun is fried a little longer.

We tried their steamed veggie dumplings, OMG!! So flavorful and reasonably priced. Will be going back for sure!

Never tried it because we walked in and all of the staff saw us and no one acknowledged us for 3-5 minutes so we walked out .

They really need to work on their customer service and the amount of employees they have at the restaurant. I called for a to go order and asked to pick up at 5.45 and it wasn't ready until 6.15pm. The lady taking care of the phone order doesn't really speak English. I asked for crab pork dumpling soup and she said shrimp? Omg. Crab and shrimp? They don't even rhyme to each other! They have a special promotion if you order over $50, you'll get half off orange chicken and fish fillet. I ordered around $70 and she didn't even mention/say anything. Very disappointing. Also, their ground pork noodle is way overpriced. They gave so much noodle and so little pork. I'm not sure if I wanna go back.

You're gonna wait. Please don't be an a****** about it. Don't come here and be like this other horrible women waiting next to me. They're short staffed. One dude making dumplings fresh. Another frying them up. One waitress taking orders. It's a motherfucking pandemic and they're still here and still open. Props. I'll forever come 30mins away for this dankness. Thank you!

3rd time ordering here. Tried the new green onion grilled fish. Oh my god, it tastes very very bad. Heavy fishy smell, and disgusting taste. Throw away after half bite.

wow! I didn't expect to find such a delicious dim sum place out here in Chino Hills/Inland Empire. I usually go out to Rowland or Costa Mesa but that's such a far drive. I have never found something so delicious as the Pan Fried Pork Bun it's like the XLB married a steam bun with a nice crisp. It's super flavorful & soupy. I do wish though that their XLB had similar flavor as I think it la a little lacking. It's still every good though. I also got the Pork Wontons in Chili Oil, which were also delicious and the chili oil had a nice kick! Portion was a bit small but I forget that wontons are small too~ overall thought I def recommend trying them out.

Was looking to eat dumplings and stopped by this gem in Chino Hills based on stars and number of reviews. Place closes at 3pm and opens at 5pm til night, 9pm? To me that means time for the restaurant to recuperate and focus on making quality food until reopening. And that is apparent with this restaurant. The dumplings were good. Enough to satisfy my craving and forget about having to wait inline for DTF (pre-covid) , which makes me happy. If you go, I recommend the Pan-Fried Shrimp and Pork Bun. Delicious and good size portion. It's a seasoned ground pork and shrimp meatball inside a soup bun. Any Shanghainese can attest to the authenticity of this restaurant let me know! I'd recommend this place

This is the spot for some good dim sum. Variety of choices and sauces. Not a bad price point either.

Amazing food, reasonable prices, great service, friendly and helpful staff. Once you can dine in this place will be perfect, but due to vivid that isn't a negative thing for the restaurant - If you're in the area and want good food, pop in, you won't be disappointed

Once they open for indoor driving out will be even better, but the five stars are for the food and service. Every single thing we ordered was delicious, perfectly cooked, if you're in the area you should really try this place. We will be back, even if we have to eat in the car again

best Shanghai Dim Sum in LA. We are happy to see this restaurant in Chino Hills and we are buying to go every week.

I went here to buy dim sum, thinking of har gow and siu mai (Hong Kong style), but they serve (Shanghai style). I did order their 2 most popular dishes, which was #1 ( pork soup dumpling) and #4 (pan fried pork dumpling). The flavor was good, especially the pan fried pork dumplings. Both very "soupy" and tastey. My only issue is that the meat was very fatty. You can't tell when it's nice and hot, but as soon as it cools it leaves a greasy feel in your mouth. And if you eat enough of it then you'll feel it afterwards. Other than that it was very good.

I finally had a chance to try this place! I ordered the XLB & fried green beans with garlic. To be honest I'm sad I didn't like this place. The lady that took my to-go order was very nice but I was let down by the food. The XLB has no green onions which I LOVED because I am not a green onion fan. The XLB lacked flavor and were very one note. I HAD to add the vinegar to give it some flavor. The fried green bean wasn't what I thought it'd be. Yes I knew they'd be oily but not soaked in oil! Plus there were a ton of green onions. They lacked flavor to me. I may try other items in the future but for now I'm good without.
