The food here is phenomenal. Best MaPo Tofu I've ever had. You can tell the food is prepared with care and intention. It's just so filling, delicious, authentic, and nurturing. Adding a picture of my half finished MaPo. 10/10

I ordered house chow mein, hot & sour soup, won't go to this place again, quality of the food was so bad and food taste doesn't taste fresh, I been there in the past it wasn't like that, might change a chef or something but that day food was super salty and gross. best to do some research before order.

Food was pretty awful and gave me stomach ache. Portions were ok and seems like other reviews were decent but just not my cup of tea? Too greasy and not the best ingredients.

This place used to be a really good choice for Chinese dishes here in Chino Hills, until it was sold to a new owner. Although the name and the dishes offerings remained the same; but the tastes have changed, most dishes were too sweet, even for a Shanghainese place. You will probably have to go to Wuxi 无锡 in China to find sweeter dishes. The quality of the beef itself was very low and no amount of sugar can mask that. On the other hand, the quantity was good and the prices were reasonable compared to other Chinese eateries in Chino Hills. It's sad that two of the better restaurants in town (both in the 99 Ranch Market Plaza with the other one being Tasty House) have gone through ownership changes and the quality went down on a steep hill.

MParking: Plenty of parking, but ladies need to be aware of purse snatching incidents here. So hang on to your LVs tight.

Home Cooking is the best Chinese food in the Chino Hills area (since forever). The first I visited Home Cooking was 13+ years ago. It was the best and (probably) the only authentic Chinese food restaurant in Chino Hills then. There are more authentic Chinese/Cantonese/Taiwanese food restaurants opened in the area today, but Home Cooking is still the best, especially when it comes to vegetarian options. The service was excellent. It's so nice of them to offer us warm/hot water on cold days. The food was not the best in SoCal but it's one of the best in the I.E. area for sure. They don't have tons of vegetarian dishes. But it's enough for a meal for a party of 4. We had: - cucumber salad 拍黄瓜: They were able to not add sugar to this dish for us. This was not the northern Chinese-style cucumber salad which was spicy, but it was super delicious. The cucumber was fresh and crunchy. This was our favorite dish in our meal. - black mushroom with gluten 香菇面筋煲 I liked this dish a lot. This was a high-protein vegetarian dish. What's not to like? This dish will be perfect if it's more flavorful. - scallion noodle 葱油拌面 The noodles were too thick for my taste. I would like the dish more if they put more scallions with a different noodle type. - Cauliflower Griddle 干锅花菜 (vegetarian) We were so happy this was a vegetarian dish. It's not spicy enough for our taste. But this is ok since this is not a Hunan or Sichuan style Chinese food so we didn't expect spicy Chinese food here. However, this dish was a bit sweet for me.

Food just simply remarkable. The restaurant really holds its name "Home cooking". Fish was thick and delicious and Crispy Spicy Chicken also compliment the sweetness of the fish. Chino hills is very lucky to have restaurant like this. It might be hole in the wall, but its worth it to come back or at least try. Most of the food priced at 15.99 as of december 2023. Hope to see them prosper

The food here is legit if you're looking for Sichuan or Hunan spicy food. Would recommend the cumin lamb or pork intestine hot pot!

Mouth watering food and friendly service. My wife and I ended up over ordering because there were so many eye catching dishes to choose from. We ended up getting the seafood noodle soup, cumin lamb, pea shoots, and Shanghai fried rice cake, which were all mind blowing. Will definitely be back
