Casual dinner with family turned into something more special at Mes Amis. My wife and I enjoyed a bottle of wine and the plater for two, meanwhile my teenage sons enjoyed their chicken kabobs! We ate nearly all the delicious food. Will come back.

A local spot worthy of revisiting. Dinner for two on a Thursday, no reservations. We instantly were charmed by the decor and the dim lighting added a private feel at the table. We were greeted by the waitress and seated right away. She was friendly and attentive throughout our dinner. We ordered the mixed grill ($45) and medium rare lamb chops ($55). The salad that arrived first was a mix of fruits and greens with a light dressing that the waitress said may have pomegranate syrup in it. Loved it! The lamb chops were larger than expected, seasoned well and had no gamey taste.The chopped pistachios sprinkled on the lamb was great with the rice too. The mixed grill was served in a generous portion as well. The stand outs were the grilled juicy chicken and filet mignon. Both entrees included hummus, and can I just say this had to be one of the best hummus we've had in a long while. We scraped our hummus bowls clean. The Chef Owner came by to ask us about the lamb. He explained that he has used NZ lamb and is trying out Australian white lamb in part because the lamb is larger, tender and has no gaminess to it. Ah that makes sense! We definitely appreciated that tidbit of information. We had a positive first experience and look forward to coming back to try more.

This place had the best lamb chops I've ever had. My wife had the chicken, and it was so juicy that it practically dripped as I bit into it. It's by reservation only here, but that's only because the owner, who is the chef, does all of the cooking. He actually brought our plates out to us and checked on us as we dined. We came here for our anniversary and plan on coming back just for the service and the food.

Sammy is a bit quirky but a very good chef. I love the Journey. A Journey is a travel stop in Lebanon, from appetizers to dessert. Very special, really love going to Mes Ami.

This is an amazing place with beautiful ambience and Sam the owner was very gracious he even gave me a wonderful chocolate bar for my birthday which I was celebrating I forgot my server name and I apologize for that but his service was superb very accommodating and friendly. The lamb was excellent tender seasoned and absolutely divine.

Came here Friday evening for a dinner for two. We made a reservation for 7:15pm we had really good service and food. The place is cute and low lit which I like for ambiance and to relax. The red wine (by the glass) it was delicious. I think it was a cabernet - Also the chicken kabob and salad was yummy my lover got the Kofta and we got the mamaganoush and cheese empanada everything was Delicious and our date was excellent. I also purchased some turkish delights in rose flavor and my kids loved those too. I recommend this place it's great food !

This place is absolutely incredible! Came here for my anniversary on a whim because it looked nice on yelp and it was the best choice I could have possibly made. I did the Journey for Two and it was soooooo delicious! The atmosphere is absolutely beautiful and charming, the service was phenomenal, the food was perfection, and the owner is a delight. I will definitely be coming back and will recommend it to everyone I know!!!
