Excellent service, food, ambience.Food was very tasty. We ordered Salmon teriyaki and Chicken cutlet curry. Both of them were awesome. Chicken was perfect fried same for salmon, curry was awesome. This me being Indian, telling curry was tasty , it means something ?Besides all these it was cheap too.

I heard this small Japanese restaurant was very good, so we gave it a try, We came in for dinner and ordered bento boxes with chicken and beef teriyaki and some California rolls, some green tea, and they served a side of miso soup. Well, not the worst but definitely not the best either, with a lot of room for improvement on all categories, the positive note was the teriyaki chicken and beef are very tasty and well prepared, the California rolls tasted okay, but on the down note is the hot tea and the miso soup we're really bland, how can you get green tea wrong?. And the salad dressing to my taste had too much ginger.I may stop by again to give it another shot, or not ...

Impossible to order take out. I look on DoorDash and I see that they open at 5:10 so I wait until 5:10 and they're temporarily closed but on Apple Maps it says open. So I call and luckily someone answers straight away and I ask about DoorDash and they said they closed it. So I go over the menu and try to call back with my order. I called and get an automated message: "the number you have called does not have their voicemail set up hang up and try again later." I couldn't get through to them until 5:45 at which time they said takeout would be an hour. It would have been fine if I was able to order online or via DoorDash at 5:20 and been able to pick it up in an hour but to attempt to call for almost half an hour is so frustrating. This is such an old fashioned way of doing business.

Excellent quality sashimi! Superior service! Love this place! As always, you get what you pay for. You won't get cheap/budget half frozen sashimi here. Only the best of the best.

This is one of the best sushi places that I have been to in Southern California. I used to have a favorite sushi place in this area but this place has replaced it as the champ. VF had a very clean and Japanese ambience that made the food even taste better. Their servers and chefs were extremely welcoming and friendly. Whenever we requested anything it was delivered quickly with a smile on the servers face. The way a sushi chef slices the fish can make a huge difference in the enjoyment of the fish and these chefs were on point (or is it on edge..haha knife pun). Chef Mason is a true master of his craft. The food was outstanding and even our kids liked what they ordered. My 7 and 9 year old devoured the chicken cutlet, California rolls and udon we ordered for them. They even ate like 3-4 pieces of sashimi each! I know when the sashimi is really fresh and good when my kids can eat it.

I've been here twice recently and I really like it. The food is good. I can't say its the best or GREAT, but its good. Prices are reasonable. Service is quick. I've gotten take out both times. I love that the location is convenient to where I live during the week, so I can stop in and order and be eating my sushi at home less than 30 minutes later. And the hours are GREAT! They are open late! This is perfect for me as I don't get off work until at least six! I look forward to sitting down and eating there one time so I can get more of an experience than just picking up a couple of rolls. I'll keep you posted when that happens, but for now, I recommend.

The food is so delicious, and our kids love the food here too! They like to get the Bento Box with 2 choices it's a lot of food! Our favorite is the Butter Field Roll with the combination of cream cheese and sushi so divine!! Very friendly atmosphere because the place is small you feel like your part of a family there. The service is very fast!! We call this place one of our favorite sushi restaurants!!

Best sushi place in Chino Hills, hands down. Great selection, great employees, great environment. But it's cool if we keep it a secret!

I give this place 5 stars because it's my go to sushi spot in this area. They are consistent which i think is soooo important. I am from the SFV and SGV area where sushi spots are endless. Just moved to this area and THIS is my sushi spot. Only thing i wish they offered was fountain drinks instead of can soda but my rating stands the same. My favorite rolls are the geisha roll with sub blue crab and the butterfield roll. I don't usually like rolls with cream cheese but ugh it's SO good.

This restaurant is a local hidden ?. It's one of my family's favorite sushi restaurants that we frequent. Their selection of dishes are always made perfectly and delicious. My top dish is their baked salmon collar with sweet ponzu sauce. Their head sushi chef is great. My 6 year old twin daughters love eating there, and the seafood is consistently fresh and good. I've also had quick lunch meetings with friends and coworkers there as well.Kid-friendliness: It's not as noisy as some other sushi places. My kids love their plain cucumber and avocado rolls.

We love trying new sushi places since we end up finding gems like this place. The sushi combination was such a steal! And because of that, I learned how great their nigiri pieces are that I will definitely be ordering more next time. The combination came with 4 pieces and today (not sure if it's the same everytime) they were: shrimp, albacore, salmon, and tuna. Literally so fresh and the salmon and tuna just melted in my mouth omg.The red mango roll was something I wanted to get while reading the menu online and it did not disappoint. It has a sweet sauce and also mango which made the whole thing sweet BUT because of the spicy tuna, the ending / final taste is a bit spicy. It's so unique to me and sooo good. It's definitely something I have to order again when I come back. The last roll I got was the fresh Las Vegas roll which has so many different fishes in it (lol I m always order something like this tbh). It was topped with green onion and masago which was a nice touch. It didn't have any sauce, but dipping it in soy sauce was perfect... and I actually ended up using some of the sweet sauce from my other roll and it was good! P.S. bf got an unagi hand roll and he says it's the best thing he had thereP.P.S. bf got the spicy tail roll and he loved it also!
