We live like 2 miles away from this restaurant and we loved (keyword - loved) going to this place for the food and the price. Last weekend we spontaneously decided to eat there. Our jaws dropped when we saw the price hike, it was not just a dollar or two increase but more!!! What in the world! I understand that everything is expensive now but their price increase is bordering on ridiculous. It's total insanity. Food was still good but noticed that quality was not there too. I ordered the bun with eggrolls and the rice noodles were just one homogenous mass. We were really saddened with the incredible price hike and needless to say, won't be visiting them again for a long while. Sorry, California Noodle and Grill, we are breaking up with you now. :(

the food is great, I especially enjoyed the texture of the egg noodles. The servers are always sweet. I was caught off guard by the prices-- ~$7 Thai tea vs ~$5 last time we came, for example. I do like this place but would probably pick something else for the new price point, unfortunately.

We used to eat here a lot when I was younger and recently, I've seen how much they hiked up the prices it's insane to me that we paid over $45 for soup one sandwich and an eggroll it used to be less than $30. I get that there's inflation but I don't think we'll be eating pho for a while. We could have gone for ramen or something else for the same price. Idk it just doesn't feel like it's worth it anymore. I feel like we are being way overcharged. Portions are smaller too.

I would rate this place zero stars if I could. I am never coming back here again After tasting Soggy rice towards about eating till the end of that bowl. Everything was going downhill here. We are thinking ownership changed during the Pandemic. I understand inflation, but this is like the stingiest Vietnamese restaurant I've been to. Big time SMH. I try not to write lower star reviews, but I know Vietnamese food and this is far from that especially when rice turned out soggy, and I had to spit it out. Don't be cheated by the large bowl you see: my parents complained they cheated out on the beef quantities here as well. From my plate, cucumbers used to show up more pieces as well. I seriously know Vietnamese food, nobody cooks soggy rice. You have lost me. PS: I stand by my review. You sent Extremely Soggy steamed rice. I have Not been to any Vietnamese restaurant that sent Soggy rice. SMH. End.Of.Story. 02/13/24.

Great pho! Tasty beef and pork sandwiches! Oh and the spring rolls are good too. I've been here many times small and family owned definitely support them when in the area !

The food is good, but I was shocked at how much the spring rolls cost $13.98. Also, for the price of the vermicelli, I'd expect more meat than that. Other places are more generous. And the prices are too high for what you get here but the food was good. I most likely won't be back just because it's too expensive.

It wasn't anything to shout about, I've better tasting pho at other places. The waiter was pretty impatient to take our order even though we haven't even had 3 minutes to look at the menu!

Price went up , portion went down . Ordered large bowl of pho , more like small. This place used to be good but not no more. Soggy noodles and dry fried rice.

first off, all the bad reviews are salty people who can't enjoy themselves. lot of bad review isn't even food it's atmosphere or price which is their own opinion but my opinion it's a 5 star. The food didn't taste like i'm eating out, it tasted homemade. the food was very good and i was iffy on going but you gotta step outside your comfort zone and try new things. it's a well portioned meal for price. 2 plates and a appetizer 40$ which is super reasonable. if you think that's expensive then go to the even more expensive carl's jr across the street. Anyways thank you for the amazing food and i hope everyone gives this place a try ! #24 was amazing.23,24 and egg rolls were the dishes shown

It's a Wednesday night. The wife and I are hungry and it's getting late. Where do we pick? California Noodle. It has been awhile since we have came and dine in. The wife and I thought it would be good to not accumulate anymore plastics at home so we decided to dine in. The first thing that caught my eye was the menu and the increased prices! I mean got damn $12 for a small bowl of pho? Guess I will have to work more hours at work. I did not know inflation was at its peak. The food came out fast and there was nothing really out of the world or tastes any different. We just came for nostalgia and support our local businesses. My wife loves this place, but I think I would stay away more due to pricing. Portions were nothing to gawk about. If you're going to ask for any substitutions for yellow noodles in your pho, don't be surprised that they will charge you and not tell you.
