Went to Wabi Sabi yesterday. This is what we found. Used to be a good place but got very expensive.

Saw a sign outside today that this location is permanently closed. The sign is at the front door and all the light are out.

The chef at my table told me in front of my woman and her mother that I take different women to the Wabi Sabi restaurant. He also said that I am a bad man. I followed up to file a complaint today. I went to speak with the owner, but he wasn't there. I explained the situation to Roka on 3/28/24, and she said he wasn't there, but that he would call me to discuss the matter. He did not call me. I spent $140.00 on dinner for the worst service I ever had. Our dinner was ruined. I don't advise anyone to eat here, but if you want to be disrespected for no reason, be my guest. I do not represent the kind of man the chef made me out to be, I mean the chef doesn't even know me to say that I bring all of these women to the restaurant which is not in the least but true and doesn't represent the good man that I am. We also had to tell the chef to do the fire performance when he cooks, because he did not which is the main highlight when going to the Teppan Grill. The chef also served the other guest more food than he did me. I was dumb founded as to why this so called chef was hating on me for no reason.

So we normally go to a Wabi Sabi closer to where we live. But the last time was kinda meh, and they had a rash of bad reviews. So we went to this one in Chino. We were not disappointed. We showed up pretty late. Maybe 40min before closing. We requested a scrambled egg off the grill for my picky vegetarian daughter, and they were happy to oblige. The steak was buttery and fantastic. My husband is normally not a veggie enthusiast, but the flavor on the veggies was SO GOOD he was eating everything. Our sushi was great also. My (non-vegetarian) daughter and I really enjoyed the rolls we got. (Shout out to the Vegas roll!) The staff were so kind and gracious even as we were the last customers there, they encouraged us not to rush.

Sushis are fresh and yummy, price is reasonable. Btw when we are leaving the server gave my kids lollipops, thank you Lily for taking care of us, we enjoyed eating here.

Thank you Chef Aaron for a great show and performance My wife and I were impressed. Service was on point all around. Chef Aaron had a great supporting staff that was very attentive. The food was excellent! The salmon was real and fresh. Slightly thin but, in this economy I still found it a great value for the price. My wife's filet mignon was incredibly tender and cooked to perfection! No teeth needed to chew this tend and generous portion. Tongue and the roof of your mouth will do. I enjoyed the laid back and casual setting. It's out 2nd time eating here but, our first time eating at the grill. Definitely not our last.

I've been here a couple times before, and returned after about a 6 month absence. The atmosphere is a little noisy, with all the tables and chefs in the same room. We had a party of 6, and they put 2 other random people at our Ronald of 8. The food was ok, but not great. The filet mignon was not as tender and juicy as usual. A little chewy, and not as moist. The rest of the meal was fine. Service on drinks was slow. Overall, a fair experience, but nothing fancy or top of the line. They charged a mandatory 18 percent tip, which was alright. But I wish they allowed guests to tip what they wanted to. I might go back, but it will be awhile.

Overhead screen filters are so dirty and dripping dark oily dirt dropping down to the cooking top below. It's so disgusting and I mentioned it to a waitress but she did nothing about it so we moved to next table! Please clean up your restaurant for your customers sake!!

If I could leave zero stars, I would. We have been to this restaurant numerous times and always received decent service. Tonight, however, was definitely not that. We arrived and sat at the Teppan grill table with another party of 3. My husband ordered a shrimp teppan dinner and I ordered a sushi roll with a side of sashimi. The other party at our table additionally ordered Teppan entrees then about 10 minutes later added sushi rolls. The chef came out cooked the Teppan dinners for everyone at the table and I still had not received the sushi roll or side of sashimi. Once the chef started serving, my husband asked the waitress on the status of my sushi roll and side of sashimi. She checked on the status with the sushi chef, he started preparing it. Keep in mind there was no one else in the restaurant at the sushi bar and two other tables were finalizing their dinner. After my husband was about halfway done with his dinner, I received my side of sashimi. in the interim, I was grazing on his vegetables from his dinner. After my husband had completely finished his dinner, and everyone else at the table I finally received my sushi roll. I wanted to point out that the other party at our table that ordered sushi after I ordered my initial dinner, received their sushi rolls before our Teppan dinner was even cooked. I am usually hesitant to write negative reviews, however, in this instance, I feel like it is completely warranted, and I am somewhat offended. When I asked the waitress for a box for the sushi roll I received late because I had already eaten my side of sashimi and my husband was done with his dinner. The waitress brought out a box. I asked the waitress for some soy sauce and wasabi for the takeout. The waitress proceeded to bring me a side of wasabi and one packet of soy sauce. I asked the waitress for some additional soy sauce, to take home, specifically five packets. When she left and returned the waitress placed the additional soy sauce packets about two empty seats to my left. And walked away. Not only did I receive untimely delivery on a very simple order, but also somewhat disrespectful behavior from the waitress. I find this completely unacceptable. Clearly there was no one else taking up their time on making food or any rush for overload of customers to create such a rushed disrespectful delivery on very simple order. My husband mentioned the disrespectful behavior to the manager when we were paying and he did discount one of the items from our bill. Much appreciated. However, the disrespectful behavior from your waitress should be seriously reviewed.

We had a 5:00 reservation for my family (a party of 5 adults and 1 child). We were waiting to order and 1 of our party members had to take an emergency phone call so stepped outside. The hostess told us we could not wait to order as they have other parties coming in. I didn't realize there would be a time limit on our reservation! She was rude to our group! We ended up rush ordering. Thankfully, the food was good. Our table chef did not "throw" food or attempt to "entertain" us. There was also an automatic tip added to our bill for a party of 6. We would have tipped less. We will not be coming back to this restaurant as there are plenty of Teppan choices around that have much happier service
