I don’t think this would be considered a real Hawaiian BBQ. I got the loco moco, and they barely had enough gravy to cover the unseasoned patty. The Mac salad is actually a tuna salad with macaroni. The green leaf salad that comes with the meal also does not come with any dressing.

When I walked in, I was pleasantly greeted. My food was cooked fresh to order (keep this in mind if you see people complain about wait times- freshly cooked meat is not instant) and it came out HOT! The food was tasty, the portion sizes were generous, and I watched the cashier greet each customer and saw she was familiar with many of them. In their down time, the staff was cleaning and keeping the place spotless. The pricing was spot on for what I ordered.Well deserving of the 5 star rating.
I buy to go here for my family all the time, never again! Took my family here for an Easter event hosted by the city today. My 7 year old son needed to use the restroom. I politely asked for permission to use their restroom from a chubby Asian male in his 30's behind the counter and he refused. I explained the situation and he stared me staight in the eyes, pointed to the menu on the wall and said "you need to order something first". For a moment it felt like I was in a scene from a 90's movie depicting South Central liquor stores. This guy seemed angry and was devoid of any compassion. Other customers sitting around seemed shocked at this behavior. I left the premises with my kid and went next door. Needless to say, i will never spend another penny at this place!

So disrespectful the lady that works there is so disrespectful she doesn’t care about her clients there where two more people ahead of me and she was answering them very disrespectful I don’t if she is racist but she was very disrespectful I don’t like that people doesn’t treat others with kindness and love don’t go there

Is worse experience for take out!Helen, the cashier was super rude and unprofessional. I mobile order my food and went in to pick up, Helen was yelling at the chef's who knows what? In her language. I had ordered the family meal which was not cheap $60 plus and I asked her if I could have an extra bag for my sauces since I've order this before and the lids on the sauce cups are very flimsy. She said No! she said carry them or put them in food. After at She started yelling at the cooks for who knows what. Will be coming here again! It's suck because the food is not bad, I just felt very sorry for the Cooks.

Born and raised in Hawaii and don’t think I’ll come back to this place again. While the portions were large the chicken katsu tasted a bit off. Couldn’t put my finger on it. The katsu sauce was also slightly off. The curry sauce was gross. I got a side of lau lau and it was tiny. Pork was tiny. Butterfish was non-existent. Also the mac salad wasn’t tasty as well.

I showed the cashier the menu with the coupon and ordered the family meal. It was opted for 39.99 but charged me instead the price that was on the Menu Wall. That's why I didn't tip. CS is something that needs to be worked on. But it appear it took a loss here tonite. I might cone back and seriously I don't care about new items just the quality the food. Ty

I ordered the #2 BBQ Mix and it was delicious! The person who took my order was very nice and diligent. You can sit down and enjoy your meal in a nice environment. I will be coming back soon especially since they customized my order to what I love.

825pm Saturday, we are walking in, NOBODY in the restaurant . Ordered and was told that everything is to go. I verified that they close at 930pm (as it states on the door). I asked why is everything to go when they close at 930pm. He said because the lobby closes in 30 minutes.835pm, we ordered and ate IN THE RESTAURANT at Ono's Hawaiian BBQ off Rio Rancho Road.... (And oh they close at 930pm also)I was giving Young's another try since I use to eat here all the time but the food deteriorated over time. Guess the service followed. Too bad I can't tell you if the food got better.(Lol, read the other 1 star review on YELP about the menu prices. The reviewer took a picture of the cashier and it's the same guy. Dude was definitely rude with me also)
