The Food was good, but it took almost 40 minutes to get it, our server had a very bad attitude change suddenly (by no effect from us) but we got to experience it.

Came all the way from Las Vegas to eat authentic Mexican food . The food had no flavor and was under cooked I give it a 3/-1/2 out of 10 stars . Don’t recommend if u like authentic Mexican food . More like American Mexican food . I’m very disappointed!!!

The food is really authentic Mexican cuisine. Service is good. Ambiance is a little loud, but happy. A locals hangout, came out with my wife and unexpectedly ran into friends having a good time.

I've lived in the area for almost my entire life and never knew of this place! Excellent food, drinks, and customer service. The prices are very fair. This may now be my favorite Mexican restaurant. Complimentary chips and salsa. And when we were running low on chips, the server refilled it without us even asking! WOW, I've never had that happen and it made me so happy. The margaritas and micheladas are delicious. They come with the chamoy candy rim. The margaritas have the same creamy/icy texture (so not like a slurpee) as my favorite taco spot in Tijuana. I ordered 2 apps as my meal, queso fundido and fiesta flautas. I enjoyed both and they were the perfect size. I would've liked the queso to be a bit more cheesy/melted down, but the chorizo was perfect. The actual entrees come in large portions and can be shared between 2 people. I can't wait to be back!!

Always drove by here and thought it was sketchy because of the bar next door after years I finely came in to try let me tell you wonderful wonderful wonderful the burrito with thier home made sauce is out of this world everthing in this place is like homemade highly recommended you won't be disappointed

Cleanest place every..didnt like the ground beef taco.. Everything else great.
Well the atmosphere seems swell, servers are both fluent in Spanish and English. Keep in mind the food is said to be Mexican style but it's actually "mexican-american". Some of the concepts of their plates are a miss on to what we expected. A bit pricey for portions and could use a bit more freshness on rice and beans. Chips and salsa were definitely good.

The food here is so good! I ordered the chili rellenos the were so cheesy and delicious we also ordered the famous flying saucer good as I remember I been going here since I was 5 I'm 61 now !

I can't believe I've lived in South San Diego for 40+ years and have never been here! Bf and I came for lunch on a Saturday. We were seated within 15min. The staff was very friendly. He ordered the beef chimichanga with cheese sauce. I ordered the calories de res. Servings were huge, food was delicious. He did wish the chimichanga was crispier under that yummy sauce but he reports everything tasted so good. He liked everything about his dish. Let's talk about my soup now, the broth was so beefy and flavorful! The veggies were perfectly cooked. Still had a n8ce fresh bite. It came with a small side of rice, two fresh tortillas and cilantro, onion and limes. I'll come back for it, for sure! The neighbors at the next table had the flying saucer. It looked amazing but a little too much for just me and him. Can't wait for the next visit!
