I have used Frida's for a number of events. The team is accomodating, the food is delicious (the mini flan Elsa made for dessert was especially amazing). Typically we go with tacos and they are always a hit! I strongly recommend Frida's and Elsa.

Frida's Cocina catered my 09/01/2018 wedding at Milagro Farm Winery this weekend and they did an amazing job! I communicated about 9 months early with Elsa about what I wanted and they did not disappoint! The salmon taco and fish taco were amazing! They made a great vegetarian taco with grilled veggies that was bomb! With everything they provide you can't beat the price! They are very reasonable and worked with my budget. Everyone who came to the wedding loved the food and did not leave hungry. The 3 tacos are generous in size and with chips, salsa, beans, and rice, it's sure to fill up the hungriest of guests. The provided beverages and appetizers that were very yummy. We chose a jicama salad that was vegan and vegetarian friendly and a civiche. Both came in cute plastic cups. The team at Frida's was very professional. I'm beyond thrilled and would highly recommended them for a wedding! Thank you Fridas Cocina for making my special day that much nicer

How can you be this organized? You write down a name and then you write down what the person ordered and yet, you're still calling out the wrong names and forgetting orders. Once we finally received the food the quality was subpar for San Diego standards. Greasy, lowest quality meat. If you're considering hiring this food truck for your event I'd definitely give them a pass. Even if they don't mess up the food is completely uninspiring.

Seriously the longest time ever have ever waited for a taco, and it wasn't even good, tortilla was hard and reheated, food was not fresh at all... and they even got my order right... worse option

It was a pleasure working with Juan from Frida's Cocina Food Truck. They responded promptly to all communication before the event, and he arrived in plenty of time to get set up before the event began. He was professional and friendly, and gave great service. One of the other food trucks we had booked never showed up, but Frida's Cocina and the other truck that came both brought enough extra food that they were still able to serve our crowd of 900 without a problem. And we really appreciate the donation that he gave back to our school! We would definitely work with him again in the future.

Thank you Elsa for setting up our mega open house for our team. All the neighbors loved coming to see our new listing and stayed a while to chat with us while fresh tacos were prepared on site. The food was delicious and hot. It was perfect for an outside event ! We can't wait for our next open house.
Absolutely obsessed with Fridas!! Experienced their out of this world tacos at a party they catered and WOW!!! I didn't know what to expect when I saw the truck parked out front, but they brought the food truck experience to life in an unconventional and very current way. It was such a fun concept, and the food, staff and overall structure of the ordering/serving did not disappoint. I will be booking Frida's for my son's first birthday party and stalking their truck for 'fixes' up until then. Thank you, Frida's, best fish taco I have had in a very long time!
