Visited this Grill City inside Seafood City at Chula Vista this morning. It's a food court style with Valerio's, Red Ribbon, Jolibee and The Desert Plus. Foods are freshly cooked. Got some breakfast items for $8.99 each and Palabok. Service was fair / average. The place is clean and lots of parking spaces outside.

Go no later than 6PM. I went at 7PM once and was able to get my same order, but the chicken adobo had been cooked for too long and was dry and they didn't have enough to fill the small container so there was a hard boiled egg in there that I didn't order, the pancit was also dry. Even at or before 6PM, don't anticipate chicken in the pancit. You may get some fragments, but that's about it. Normally the food is really good, but I have been there on off hours and off days. The white rice is always on point!

So my husband and I was ordering food at Grill city Chula Vista location. As we was waiting to on our food to be boxed up and ready to take home we witnessed a Male employee come behind the counter and used his bare hands and picked food from a guys order in front of us . They guy was like really that is my food you are eating from . The gentleman would have been nicer than me . The grill city guy didn't even say anything back to him . Needless to say we didn't order the food . We want everyone to be aware of this happening. I'm sure I just can't anymore . I'm sure it happens all the time but not right in front of him . Seafood city you need to be better .

This place has soooo many selections of Filipino food. Best known for their skewers and grilled fish. They have a location in National City and another in Mira Mesa. I want to say the National city one is bigger and have more selections, but I could be wrong. Come at rush hour you are guarantee to run in to madness and you will have no choice but to be patient if you want to eat here. That was the case today and they only had 3 people working there. One lady is strictly on the register and packing your order. The guy/kid who helped us would take orders than quickly run to his cell phone on the side. Seriously....is that really important right now. Today we got stuffed 3 egg plant (good grief these were $4 each!) and a couple of pork skewers and 1 halo halo. Skewers are always good here. This was the first time to try their halo halo and they have me sold! So much purple going on....I loved it! See you again soon!

Solid Grill City location located inside Seafood City! Service was friendly, attentive, and prompt. The skewer, rice, and entrees is a solid value with good portions and flavor. Great for a quick bite. Generous and filling servings. Would return to try other things on their menu.

The cooks SHOULD know how to cook!!! The palabok isn’t cooked, the dinuguan has some left over pork bbq added on it. Worst filipino fast food, the Grill City on Orange Ave. Don’t get your meal there. Yuck

I bought two grilled tilapia among other items. When i got home and about to eat, the grilled tilapia were not freshly grilled since the meat were like rubberized. I paid right even the price was high, grill coty should sell what’s money’s worth.

Ordered over $200 worth of food at this location: Cebuchon, Grilled Seafood Platter, Pinakbet and Bibingka, the seafood platter that was supposed to be Two Grilled Tilapias, 1 Grilled Pompano Fish and Grilled Squid, and they gave us instead Chicken Skins, Chicharon Bulaklak, Shrimp and Pork Bagnet, we did not see this until we got home to prepare for our party and we were very disappointed at this mistake, not only that, but the broth from the Pinakbet leaked off the tray, due to poor food packaging. Sad to say, please double check everything you order here before leaving, you cannot trust them, terrible!

We decided to have the breakfast, and the portions were very large. Came with 2 eggs, meat of choice, 2 scoops of garlic rice and chocolate porridge. I also got their fresh calmansi juice. Delicious.
