One of the first things I noticed moving from the east coast to San Diego - was that a good sandwich was hard to find.If you're anywhere near hungry Hanks look no further. I've had multiple sandwiches here and they're all incredible. Highly recommended!

This place used to have the best sandwiches, but NO MORE! The prices have gone up and the meat in the sandwiches is almost non-existent. Seriously! Just one very thin slice. What happened? I know things are tight economicly, but don’t take it out on the customers. I’ll never go there again!

I have been getting sandwiches here for 40 yrs , when I was a autoParts driver behind the Mobil gas station on 3rd & L. St , every sandwich I have ever tried is GREAT, of course the prices have gone up a lot since then but so has EVERYTHING, get your sandwich here you won’t be sorry!!!!

Was standing in line for 10 lins when someone in the back yelled at me to move out the line because it doesn't go that way. How about saying something as soon as I get there and not be rude about it. Lady with the green hair and tattoos was even more rude coming out saying loudly that the line is that way while shaking her head. How about put up signs so your customers are not confused and get yelled by your employees. Lady with green hair even shook her head at me like I'm d**** Who's the one working at a sandwich shop?

Great family owned shop. I love the Turkey delight and my husband gets the submission (from the hidden menu). Great service...if your getting your sandwiches to go, have the sauce on the side.
