Came in to dine and advised the wait was for 15 mins at 8am. I was by myself and saw about 6 empty tables, but ok i waited. Suddenly a party of 5 walked in and got seated then and there. I guess they're about profit. Totally understand but I will never come back here.

Came here on a Friday morning for breakfast with my daughter, saw these new biscuits on the menu, I decided to have the biscuit with strawberries and cream which also came with bacon, eggs and hash browns, my daughter had the chicken biscuit sandwich that came with a side of fries. The biscuits were AMAZING, so flaky, so buttery, just perfect! Service was good and prices are average, not bad for a commercial chain restaurant.

My mother's 83rd BDay brunch didn't go as smooth as hoped.Too Long a wait (over an hr, when told 30min) to end up being sitted in 2different areas ? they couldn't figure where to sit our group of 9 adults +2babies!?? Rating front service a 1one.*The eating area extremely warm(very uncomfortable).*Even though the food was very good, served in a timely manner and the waiter was polite; the overall experience on our 1st time at this IHOP was quite disapointing.

Four stars for the food and a resounding FIVE STARS for our server, Patty, who was terrific, absolutely terrific. We usually go to Family House of Pancakes on the west side of Chula Vista and IMO, they have the best pancakes anywhere, Today, however, we decided to try IHOP and we were both happy with the decision. We were seated quickly at a clean and spacious table and less than a minute after we sat, Patty came to our table. She was sweet and friendly and brought our drinks very quickly and, by that time, we were ready to order. My husband had decaf coffee, a Belgian waffle with strawberries and whipped cream. It was accompanied by eggs, bacon, and hash browns. I ordered the "Split Decision" breakfast consisting of two pancakes, eggs, bacon, sausage and a slice of French Toast along with a glass of orange juice. There was more than enough food and my husband ended up helping with mine since I couldn't eat it all. Something that I really liked was that when Patty took our order, she asked if we wanted our bacon "crispy" or "regular" and I thought that was a really nice touch. The cooks got our food exactly as requested and we both agreed that we'll go back again. The shining star of the day was Patty, she was super nice, efficient, attentive and an overall pleasure. We will be sure to ask for her next time. Thanks IHOP!
