This building has housed several restaurants, but none quite like this one. Will you find authentic traditional Mexican food, ummm no... but they do have some good items on their menu - and sushi ! The drinks are what they will probably be more favored and popular for, as even their names are fun and the selection of Tequila available will quench the thirst of any alcoholic, I mean, patron. The drinks are delicious and fresh fruit is used to make them. Granted, they had only been open for about a month when I came. The bedside manner and customer service during non-busy hours needs attention - a lot of attention. Having worked in the food industry, there is nothing more unappealing than watching multiple staff walk right in front of you and not acknowledge your presence or leave you wondering who exactly is going to seat you, let akone acknowledge you... a simple "Someone will be right with you..." goes A LONG way. With that aside, our waitress was super busy and even forgot to take our order after we ordered drinks only and munched on chips and salsa. I don't think I have actually waited at a restaurant for 2 hours because of the delay getting sat and delay in even ordering food. I did notice they offer happy hour menu and happy hour prices and despite the mishap, we are determined to give this place another shot for happy hour in the future, hopefully the kinks will be worked out. As for the food, I didn't care for the rice at all. The beans were okay (not the best), but not the worst I've had. The flautas were delicious - no mix and match it is only one meat. The torta was pretty delicious and included a thick piece of cheese (yummmy). Being remodeled, the decor is along the lines of Dia De Los Muertos and very colorful. There is plenty of parking in the garage, but only a few spots up close to the front door.

We went here for 99 cent taco Tuesday. Nice ambiance good service tacos were your typical TJ STREET taco. The salsa bar was adequate but extremely spice. Loaded fries were real good. I'd give this place a try on a regular basis night.

Met up with my friends at this very colorful place with lively music. We ordered taquitos from the happy hour menu and they were so yummy! Our margaritas were really good too! I got the spicy pineapple margarita and it was made with the right amount of liquor and flavor! Our server was friendly but the only thing that lacked was the timely service. Our orders and side requests took a long time to get to us considering that the place wasn't too busy. Other than that, my friends and I were very pleased with their happy hour food and drinks!

Where to start this place has amazing service Waiters and Waitresses take their time to explain the menu to you and take their time; so you don't feel rushed. This is my 3rd experience at this establishment and it's amazing; from the $.99 taco Tuesday to which is all day and that's a steal in its self. Just came here tonight they got a Dj playing amazing music in the both. Ask for Antonio he gave amazing service honestly he is the best waiter of all. I'll definitely be back soon with a visit.

Honestly recommend this place to anyone who likes to have a good time with friends or family and appreciates good music as well as amazing food/ excellent customer service. Will definitely be going back! Also, shoutout to our server Antonio, who went above and beyond and made sure we were taken care of! Wish I could review it as a 10/10 because that's what you get when you choose this location.

Taking place of the previous Fuddruckers restaurant on Third Ave, Kalaveras has gained quite a popular following on social media which drew me to their fun, going out spot with the loud music and party vibes. My friend and I came for dinner before going out and it's for sure a great spot to grab food with friends, a big group would be so fun. I would not recommend to go to talk and catch up because it's so loud but if you don't mind that then it's a perfect place. Food and drinks are good, nothing crazy. We only really tried appetizers since we were sharing. They also have shots going around for $10 and they're straight candy. Overall fun, a great addition to get liven up Third (not that it needs it!).

I have been here twice and have nothing good to say. Food was gross and they brought the wrong orders each time to every person at the table on both visits which was crazy. Service was very bad and slow. Multiple employees were standing around doing nothing while many tables were not being helped. Some tables got up and finally left. They were out of many of the dishes they recommended each time we came. Clearly someone didn't pay their food vendors on time! The manager is terrible and has no idea how to run a restaurant. Another failed business in the same location.

I can't even rate this place. The worst Kalaveras location I have been too. We arrived planning to have a good time since I was in town. We asked to be seated at a better table and the host said it wasn't possible since we didn't have reservations. After being there for so long we seen how table after table the guests were moved to the front of the restaurant where we had asked to be seated. The servers are lazy and lack of professionalism. We were there for about three hours and the server had to be waved down to place an order. The manager wasn't much help himself. Just have to say I am very dissatisfied with this location. We even paid the gratuity that was required..
