The only good thing in this place is the customer service but other than that the quality of the product is just awful, first of all they don't have boba available, the other thing to highlight is the flavor of the tea, its super sweet, tastes basically like tons of sugar, almost to the point to make you nauseous. We tried to make it less sweet by getting rid of half of the tea and add milk but it didn't work. Sorry guys but you need to fix this and have available some bobas next time.

I got the acai bowl. all the fruit was frozen solid. I dont get it. also has a dash of pepper in it.

The door was open we walked in 15 min before 8pm which is the time that they advertise as the business hours only to be told sorry were closed. Not good people drive to your place and you turn them away even though we arrived during business hours.

Ordered matcha milk tea, were notified they’re out of jelly( that’s what I came for), received weird looking YELLOW drink that tasted like a milk with sugar.Service was really slowI’m not going to come back

My dad and I visited Kalo after a basketball game at Chula Vista High. He ordered a peanut butter banana smoothie, which he really enjoyed. I ordered a vanilla chai milk tea with boba, which had a great chai flavor with lots of boba. The employees were really polite and the service was quick. We will definitely be returning!

I believe their açaí bowls were overpriced and were way too defrosted and liquidy as it was served. Many of their boba drinks were way too watery or way too sweet. The taro boba and mango smoothie were notable but seemed to be seasonally good.

it's a nice little joint to have in chula vista, but the wait was incredibly long (over 20 minutes) for drinks (that were not blended just milk teas). poor girl is running back and forth, meanwhile other staff is chatting away and not helping. the drinks are just okay, i just go for the 1 dollar specials but some of the drinks have an aspartame after taste. weird atmosphere... Ill probably just stick to my ranch 99 milk teas from now on.
