I have had to adjust my review of this place DOWNWARD given that it raised its prices OVER $1.50 each for the items I am used to ordering. What I used to get for $6.18, NOW COSTS $8.47. Clearly the "management" of this place is placing greed before a customer's budget, and this place needs to be BOYCOTTED INTO BANKRUPTCY ACCORDINGLY! I do NOT see myself ever ordering food from here again! They WON'T EVEN GIVE PLASTIC UTENSILS WITH THE ORDER NOW! GREEDY AND PATHETIC!

My experience was not like some of the bad reviews I am seeing on here. This place is legit, definitely one of the better Hawaiian spots in town. The mac salad was great and had fresh ingredients. The chicken katsu was crispy and the bbq chicken was juicy. Excellent customer service and very friendly staff. And very reasonable prices. Checks off all of the boxes for me, so this will probably be one of my go-to spots for this kind of food from now on.

Cheap: $10 for a combination plateLow quality and quantity: few pieces of BBQ beef (very soft, no bounce to it) and chicken katsu (mostly breading as chicken is extremely thin).Katsu sauce: delicious. Mac salad: mayo was a bit too thick, taste wise this was pretty good. No extra charge to replace rice for mac salad. Parking: same plaza as grocery outlet

The foo that put a 2 STARS is trippin. This place is the bomb, cheap and a good consistency. The macaroni is fire asf. Everyday doesnt have to be perfect but they have never let me down with the food.

**CASH ONLY RIGHT NOW**I first had this food when it was catered at a party. I enjoyed it so much, I asked my friend where she got the food and bookmarked the yelp. There is no working website/online menu and I couldn't trust the old menu photos, so I waited to arrive at the restaurant to order. The bbq ribs were discontinued about 10 years ago because it got too expensive, which was a let down. The only thing I really like about this place is that you can order things as a "side" or "extra" depending on how much you want to spend/how hungry you are. The cashier was really nice and patient with me. I'm giving 2 stars because the Mac salad was the worst I've ever had in my life from a Hawaiian place; it tasted and looked old. It had a strange after taste and after two bites of it, I was done. The bbq beef is a 10/10 and the only reason I'd come back here. My biggest issue though is that they trick you into thinking you're getting a full portion of meat but they stuff a thick layer of cabbage underneath the meat, so you're barely getting anything. If I had known this, I would've told them no cabbage, please give me full beef, and I'll even pay extra for it. I bought a plate and somehow the cabbage came up in conversation and I asked for no cabbage, so they put a layer of rice instead to fluff up the meat. And for the $8 side of bbq beef, it was such a small amount of beef and a huge layer of cabbage!!!!The meal was a huge disappointment and we were still hungry after this meal.

It deserves 5 stars! This place is so relaxed while offering great food at affordable prices. And the containers they give you a bowl in can be reused. The service was amazing as the food was super fresh and the cashier could not be nicer. She was extremely sweet and caring. Please try this place!

I came here for lunch because I was hungry and I gotta say I love this place soo much I totally reccomend coming here you wont regret it. The katsu chicken is super tender especially with the katsu sauce, the macoroni salad and the rice balls have an incredible taste with a reasonal price. The lady that works there is really nice and polite. It is very clean there and they suprisingly dont don't take long with the food. They treat there food with love.

Rice was good. Egg rolls tasted old & steak was tough & chewy. Save your money. Such a disappointment.

The beef alone is 5/5, the chicken katsu was a little thin but not bad at all. Their egg rolls are fresh and definitely a must try

Got the chicken Katsu and BBQ plate. Food was average and don't expect the huge portions you would get from like an L&L. The rice scoop was more of a half scoop and so was the Mac. But, the price was right and the service was friendly. It's a good place to get a quick fix but don't expect to be stuffed and raving to your buddies about this place.
