A funny fact is that I thought "Omg, the pizza is pricey," however, the price is totally worth it, the flavor, omg, I was very impressed, seriously, one of the best pizzas I've ever tried, and the restaurant is cute, closed to several breweris at downtown third avenue, so the atmosphere is nice, service is great, super friendly people work in here. I will go back!

The worst Italian sandwich I have ever had. I ordered the Italian combo sandwich which is the torpedo version and first of all, it took them 37 minutes to make and it wasn't busy. The sandwich was toasted? I never heard of a toasted torpedo sandwich and it wasn't mentioned in the menu.

I tried this place already with my friend and I am hooked ever since. I like the excellent atmosphere and delightful food and drinks. Kudos.

The half and half (ravioli, spaghetti) was bland and the ravioli and meat sauce was no good :( I was inspired to try the half and half after trying something in LA like that once...but yeah I wouldn't recommend. The wedding soup was too salty, but I still ate it, because I don't like wasting food. Welp, that's one Italian place I can mark off local list.

We enjoyed a lovely dinner as always. We had mushrooms and mussels for appetizers and I had my usual spicy fra diavolo...delicious! Even with the pandemic restrictions Kathy and Adam served a pleasant meal.

Hole-in-the-wall chicago style pizza joint. I loved it. Small place so seating is limited. My friend and I got there at about 7:45PM on a tuesday night and got seated right away.. others who rolled in after us had to wait for a table. I've also had Paxti's and I'd say I prefer that pizza over this, but it's still very good pizza. I also recommend the hey kool-aid (champagne cocktail with black cherry soda)

I usually don't bad mouth places but me being italian and expecting I good italian food is very high on my list. So today I ordered the antipasto salad to be delivered. It was about $15 and some change. From the photo on the site it looked good. Beware. I received my salad expecting the different meats and cheese on the salad. Boy was I wrong. There was just enough meat and no cheese to make a pinky snack. There was more lettuce, cauliflower, and carrots than there was of meat and cheese or there lack of. Don't waste your time spending the $15 they charge. You won't be satisfied. I was very disappointed. I'm not ordering from there again.

I rated 2 stars because it's a very mixed bag of quality. The entrees and appetizers seem to be worth the price. Their pastas and pizzas are not worth the price at all. The latter were honestly pretty disappointing. So much so that the pasta pomodoro was essentially just pasta tossed in olive oil with garlic and fresh cut tomatoes.....that is not how you actually make this dish. They also managed to mess up a margherita pizza by using no sauce, shredded mozzarella, tomato slices, the smallest amount of basil, and an under baked the whole thing. I think where this restaurant gets its high ratings is probably their marinara sauce and meat sauce but that means a lot of their menu most likely isn't the best.

Wished for better, but only okay. Supported local small business and that's a good reason, but def would consider other options for same price/food. It was okay. Staff is very kind and helpful.
