I was craving some fish tacos and luckily I ran into this shop while driving by, glad I did!Their fish tacos are only $1.99 each and are huge, come well put together, and if done carefully, can be eaten with one hand without it falling apart. They are just the right amount of spicy, good flavor, and great value for money.The place is large, clean, observant of Covid protocols and has seating inside, outside and pick-up. I ordered my food and they gave me a beeper to let me know when my food was ready. They were busy, but I got my order in about 10 minutes. Customer service was great, fast and professional. It's right across the street from the Chula Vista mall, I definitely found my new fish taco place!

Won't be going back because I was accused of lying when a taco was missing the shrimp and marlin. I ordered a Taco Costazul ($6.99) its not a cheaply priced taco either but the menu said it had marlin, shrimp and bacon in it so I decided to order it. It finally arrives i take a bite and its just a bacon ball wrapped in cheese. I open the other bacon ball in the taco and same just cheese, no shrimp and no marlin in it. I call my waitress and tell her about the taco, she takes it to the kitchen, brings it back to me and tells me that I must have already ate the seafood before I said it was missing... seriously? I'm pretty sure I would know if I would have seen or tasted shrimp OR marlin. And worst is they tried disputing me when I didn't want to pay for the taco. They ruined both my appetite and my mood so I'm positive I won't ever be going back there. It was so bad actually that they made me write my first negative review ever on yelp.

I love new discoveries. This place was a great find. This ace wasn't like the other over priced places in Chula Vista. This is good ole, T J style, Mexican seafood like no other on this side of the border. The Michelada was perfect and refreshing. FREE consume to start (delicious). I'm a rustic eater so I went for the Whole fried fish $10. This fish was seasoned well, crispy outside, moist and delicious inside. Even the salad was delicious with cucumber, carrot, and other veggies. A wonderful presentation. When my out of town friends come to visit, I will bring them here for a good meal. My plate was just $10 bucks and I loved it.

You know what's up-- MOLCAJETE!My brother really raves about their fish tacos ($1.99) and for good reason!! They come at bigger than my fakkin hand and it's yummss!!! I don't know if it matters because I don't eat batter and tear it off like a savage but if you do, just a heads up there's a lot of batter covering the fish.Anyways, you know I just can't resist so had to get the Molcajete!The waitress totally forgot our order so we ended up ordering a lot more: Micheladas, lobster, and seafood tostada. But no worries, the molcajete came out super ooey gooey, everything came out with generous portions, and it was all deliciousAF.Thanks for lunch!!

Don't get me wrong the food its great I've had other waitresses with better service and great attitude and they've earn their tips which I'm all up for it, if you get a great service you deserve a good tip but when you gotta be looking for your waitress to get something or even to pay and she's nowhere to be find I'm really sorry but she don't deserve tips. This also reflects bad service towards your business, love this joint its a pretty cool place but it gives a bad reflection

I went here because of all of the reviews about how their fish tacos are the "best" ever. These fish tacos are nowhere near the best. Bigger is not always better. Not only are the fish tacos way too big to comfortably bite into, they are so sauced up and heavy that the tortilla just falls apart in your hand. The breading on the fish isn't seasoned well, way too thick, and not crispy at all, resulting in a giant disappointing soggy "taco". I don't understand how making these tacos so huge is benefitting anyone. They just are not good, and I really wanted to like them because of all the positive reviews. Maybe if the tacos were normal sized, I would have ordered more stuff / spent more money but instead I got full with less than $7 of sloppy food. From a business point of view, it just doesn't seem smart. I get people want a bang for their buck, but seriously this is just not it. This is just a perfect example that quantity is never better than quality.

Simply put, the Mariscos here is BOMB! Don't play yourself and go to a restaurant that supposedly serves Mariscos like (Hint: it starts with a K and ends with an 's) We've been a fan of this place since they were only a food truck. Check out my pics and come check out the food. SALUD!
By far one of the best marisco places I've tried in Chula Vista! Fast friendly service and of course delicious seafood with decent portions and prices!

We visit this place all the way from Los Angeles CA whenever we're in town or just want to get out of town to have some good eats. We love Mariscos and the selection they have here. The Aguachile style tostadas are no joke and on point when it comes to flavor and spice. Along with some Marlin, Presidente or Gobernador tacos will complete what we consider to be a feast fit for kings!

The food took 45 min to come out and there were only 2 orders in front of us. Once we got it, the bun was hard which is why they saturated it in sauce. The tacos were ok but not at all what I expected. The woman who works the front window was rude as hell when I went up to ask for a knife. I've been there twice, the first and last time.
