Best breakfast/ Brunch spot in Chula Vista. It was absolutely incredible!! The fusion between both cultures and foods was incredible. We got the banana nut pancake and BEWARE it is literally a 12-14 " pizza pan. It was amazing. The chilaquiles we great as well. But our absolute favorite has to be the Mexipino Fries with the Chicken Tocino, it was so good. The Aguas Frescas (Fresh Drinks) were great too! We had the lemonade with mint one. Definitely coming back!! Thank you Mexipino!
I LOVE this place! The food is incredible. I'm Filipino and have never had Filipino/Mexican fusion before but this place does it seamlessly and perfectly. The ambience is very unpretentious and welcoming. The staff is super nice and very informed about the menu. Besides getting my order wrong, the food was actually pretty amazing and tasty. From the name, I take, is a blend of Fillipino and Mexican cuisine. What can go wrong? The restaurant was cozy and music to my taste. I dug it. I would definitely eat here again. They got an extra star for datability. I would take my date here. It wasn't overcrowded or overpricey.
