Meh. This is a "1 and Done" place for me. I live in the community and saw an IG blogger rave about this place so I was very excited to try it. I ordered it today (while the rest of the fam got Gracielas tacos). I ordered some of my fave Thai dishes; spring rolls, pad Thai, crispy pork belly, fried rice, etc... First, let's talk about the portions: in comparison to other neighborhood Thai gems, these portions are on the small side. Think, meal-prep, black rectangular plastic container small. Now, that's fine, I don't need huge portions but am looking for food that fits the size of the price. Not worth it. Second, let's talk about the taste. Meh, Blah, was very upset I didn't get beef tacos from Graciela's. The peanut sauce for the spring rolls was watery and lacked flavor. The pad Thai was missing a depth of flavor, I can't really put my fingers on it but let's just say I took a few fork-fulls and threw away what seemed like the whole container (and it's not a big container). Crispy pork belly? This appeared promising but sadly, missed the mark. I'd say it was a combo of pork chop and pork belly or bacon? It tasted too salty and seemed like it was fried in old oil. I was really bummed. I wasn't a fan of the green sauce, but I could see how people like to dip these stuff in it. The mango sticky rice dessert was dry and the mango was old and bruised. Unfortunately, this place didn't cut the muster for me, but to each its own. For now, I'll stick to old faithful on Bonita Road for yummy Thai food!

During my first visit, I was thoroughly impressed and know that it won't be my last. Every dish we ordered was not only delicious, but the service was exceptionally friendly. Despite asking numerous questions, the staff member was incredibly kind and provided us with all the information we needed. We savored the panang curry, mango curry, Tom Yum soup, and pork belly fried rice. Let me tell you, the pork belly was cooked to perfection—not too crispy, yet delightfully tender. The curries were absolutely divine, and the sweet tangy taste of the mango was a delightful addition. The soup was incredibly flavorful, and even the white rice was cooked with a delightful texture. I'm already craving to return and sample more items from the menu. I wholeheartedly recommend visiting as you certainly won't be disappointed.

First off, The Crispy Pork Belly... is to die for. How they get the flavoring profile so perfect blows my mind. If you want to try something from the menu, just at least try that. Secondly, the Khao Soi Beef is amazing and the Pad Thai is so creamy and delicious it's now my go to spot. Amazing food all around. Will be coming back more and more.

I have eaten at the Thai Fresh 2 location across from SW College on Otay Lakes road 20-30 times over the last couple of years. I have tried many menu items. My overall comment is...inconsistent. Every now and then the item is done well and enjoyable. The next time it may be inedible. As a general rule the protein is overdone. The cook turns most meat to rubber. One thing that is consistent is the Chicken crispy roll.

The food is not bad. I really enjoyed the yellow curry; the potatoes were cooked perfectly and it was packed with lots of flavor and plenty of chicken. However, the pad see ew with beef was a disappointment. There was an unusual smoky after taste flavor so I wouldn't get this dish here again. I wouldn't go out of my way to come back here but if I'm in the area, I'll stop in and try other dishes!

Nice warm welcome from the moment me & my family arrived. The blend of flavors in the pineapple fried rice was amazing & the pork belly just melts in your mouth. Found our new Thai spot !

The food is ok, their mild version of spicy is already medium level of spicy for me so it took me a while to finish. We also tried their Panang Curry and it is the same, also good. Worth the try.

Listen up, fellow food aficionados! This Thai gem is like discovering a hidden treasure chest in your own backyard. The ambiance? It's like a warm hug from Thailand itself! The service is so good; they probably have a Ph.D. in friendliness. And the food? Prepare to have your taste buds dancing like they're at a Thai festival! Oh, let's talk about their Thai coffee - it's like a magic potion that turns 'meh' into 'marvelous' with just one sip. I'm kicking myself for not uncovering this culinary paradise sooner. I've been in Chula Vista for a decade, and the fact that I missed out for so long is my greatest Thai-regret. If you're in the neighborhood and haven't checked this place out yet, you're basically missing out on a culinary rollercoaster ride. I wouldn't be surprised if, by the time you finish reading this review, you suddenly develop an inexplicable craving for some top-notch Thai goodness. Don't resist the urge - hop in your car and let the aromatic journey begin!

You can come here for pick up or Dine in. The staff are very attentive and the food is great! You can ask for the food to be mild medium or spicy hot.
