Came here with a friend after jumping around at Skyzone trying to get some healthy food that's similar to a home cooked meal then I found The Protein Plate. Since it was out first time we took a while going over the menu and the guy at register asked if we had been there before and then told us what the popular menu items are, of courses took his word and tried them out. IT WAS GREAT! This is food you can make at home but when you're not close to home or too tired to cook this spot is perfect! The pricing is great especially for healthy food. I believe there is a gym nearby so a lot of those people come through. We also dined in around 6-7pm in the weekday so the tables were clean and even if it was a slow time they would still come around and wipe some tables off even if no one had sat in them. Personally believe if any place has regulars that like to hang around to chat with the staff when it's slow rather than only staying for a meal they purchased- this is a spot to go to! Their staff is very nice, respectful and accommodating. If I'm ever in the area again, I'll definitely be back!

First time there and got the worst impression. Food didn't take to long to make about 10-15. Got my food to go but when I finally sat down to eat it I was extremely disappointed. Asked for my meat to be medium rare and got a well done abomination. The size of my serving was extremely small. You'd think they'd at least load up on the veggies for $13 but nope. The serving size might have been ok if the food was seasoned well. You will be disappointed with the taste, its like they used no seasoning at all and just boiled the broccoli and mushrooms. Horrible food for the price. Felt ripped off. Will not be coming here again.

First visit was good enough to not want to leave a review. Second visit had to be shared. 2 stars only because of the cleanliness. My experience today was extremely disappointing, from the greeting to my lunch experience. "Managers" please train your staff on how to greet customers. Don't shout and ask if we plan on eating inside or to go, before even greeting. We asked for coffee for drinks, unfortunately they just had tossed it out. I couldn't understand how a place can offer breakfast plates but not have coffee. Luckily starbucks was around the corner. I ordered the tri-tip and eggs with potatoes. Tri-tip was tough and flavorless, and so were the potatoes. I felt $10 was a fair price for the type of meal, but unfortunately 1/2 went straight to the trash. I couldn't even cut through the meat because of how hard it was. Apparently Medium = Extra Well at this spot. I don't mean to bash on this location, but please "People", pay better attention to detail. I like to bring business to my area, but what I don't like doing is having to throw my food away.

This place was pretty close to terrible. First off it took them about 35 minutes to prepare this waffle that I asked for to go. The strawberries were not fresh, no butter or syrup was offered or provided. There was nothing special about this plate. It was small, dry, & did not taste good at all. This was an $8 plate. Very disappointing. Save your money & your time.

They literally only answer the phone 5/10 times . WHY . Besides that food is great . Portions of rice side though.. it's literally like 10 bites of rice .

You could just tell that nothings fried. It tasted amazing I ordered the teriyaki chicken plate. The only downside though is that they don't provide the macros but youu could tell it's a 5 oz chicken, 1 cup of short grained white rice, etc..

Great customer service with a good variety of choices. If you don't have the time to cook or just don't want to protein plate gives you healthy options for a great price. They have breakfast lunch/dinner menus. But so far I've only tried the lunch and dinner options and they haven't disappoint. This restaurant is vegan and keto friendly.

Went in today for breakfast. I ordered steak, two egg whites, sweet potato and toast. Second order was oatmeal.Everything is made to order, so if you think it’s fast food, it isn’t. Plan on being there 10-15 minutes after your order.Food: egg whites, good. Sweet potatoes, good, however, I like them a little baked, so I’ll get something else next time. And finally, steak, I ordered medium rare, and guess what, I got medium rare!Oatmeal, has good flavor, depending on the protein you choose. The did put pecans when I ordered almonds. But overall, the food was good. I would rate it an 8 out of 10. They give you a good amount, I could easily split the steak plate into two servings, and the same going for the oatmeal. (Macro counting).Service: staff seemed very friendly, greeted you with a smile and polite.Shop: very clean, new. Near gym, Starbucks and subway.I hope they do well, their menu looks great, especially if you are looking to eat better. No fried or processed foods!

Literally praying they open another one of these in little italy or pb area! This place is BOMB and as soon as they post macros under items it will be the perfect place. The kodiak pancakes were a bit dry and need more chocolate chips but our food overall was good and we love the whole concept:) thank you for opening a healthy, fitness oriented restaurant!

The food is good for healthy food, but the portion was a little smaller than I expected. Since I'm trying to eat more plant-based, I'll have to get my food here when I'm going to visit family. But I like the shake though; I had chocolate with banana. I asked for collagen, but they didn't have it. Oh yeah, they didn't have a lot of stuff I saw on Yelp like the sweet potato fries and the grilled asparagus.

This place is super delicious! Clean, kind staff! I ordered the plate with chicken, baked sweet potato, brown rice and lastly a splendid strawberry smoothie! Loved it! Definitely will recommend to my peers!

This was my first time here. I went in, placed an order, and when she asked whether it was "for here" or "to go" I said "for here." And then she asked for a name, which I told her my name. I then ran to their restroom where I washed my hands, returned, and while waiting, I pulled up a chair at one of the higher two-top tables by the front of the counter (it wasn't busy), figuring I'd be close by to see/hear my order come out. It was just a veggie wrap and some brown rice, so I didn't think it'd take long. I placed my order between 7:30 and 7:33. Soon enough, 7:55 rolls around. Where is my order? I finally get up and ask. It's been complete, but she made it to go.... and never bothered to call my name... My hot rice was just sitting there in the plastic bag next to my wrap. How long was she going to let me sit there in plain sight for? I finally caught on that something was wrong when customers who had ordered AFTER me -- were getting their food. But somehow I was missing my small order -- that requires no cooking? I try really, and I mean, really hard to be overly compensating, overly understanding, and overly conscious to restaurant workers because that's what I do, too. I get mistakes happen all of the time. I just can't believe she let me sit there right in front of her for THAT long... I know you are constantly multitasking... Which the pressure to keep up may be more difficult for some more than others, it's reasonable. I 1000% get that. This is why maybe this industry isn't for everyone. Because it wasn't busy. My food shouldn't get cold as a result of your inability to multitask properly. Also I lost 30 mins of my time... So I ask for my food, she apologizes but doesn't really explain why that happened. I'm kind of annoyed, but I brush it off. I finally have me food -- it's okay -- I'll just eat it in the car since it's to-go now. I kid you not -- no fork, no napkins. Just a box of rice. I pretty much just gave up on Protein Plate at that point lol. I cannot imagine a place like that would get returning customers.
