Ordered a large half dozen oyster cocktail with a small shrimp, octopus cocktail. They charged me for two separate cocktails bc they sell the the oysters by the half dozen and dozen oysters. When I got my food it was all mixed in one small cup with very little seafood and little vegetables with no avocado. Cocktail was mostly juice. Integrity is important to me I will not be going back!

This place has some of the best ceviche I've had in San Diego. Diabla Ceviche is the way to go. Fish tacos are legit. The Tamarindo micelada was great. All around great spot. Highly recommend.

As a seafood aficionado from the East Coast, I was more than pleasantly surprised to be introduced to a new way to eat oysters!! The oyster cocktail is phenomenal and (for friends of the more Caucasian variety like myself) you can eat it like a lil pizza on the provided tostados or dip the tostados into it… so stoked to stumble across this spot and I will be back!The calamari was a thinner coating, not the flaky beer battered stuff you get at pubs. Similarly delicious & great sauce

Been going to tj oyster bar for years. Love that they have multiple locations across the South Bay. They're always consistent with their quality. Friendly service. Always an open table or two for seating. Aguachile is very refreshing, smoked tuna fries are the best appetizer ever, and the fish tacos are classic.

Exceptional Mexican seafood! I prefer this location over the one in Bonita due to its convenient proximity to the freeway, making it my top choice for quick and easy takeout. Moreover, it offers a more spacious and comfortable dining area.

This place is so good!! I was skeptical based off of the negative reviews. The garlic shrimp tacos were perfect!! And there shrimp cocktail was great with the amount of shrimp that's included. Everything tasted fresh. I would highly recommend this place.

We love love love TJOB! But, I was kind of disappointed. I've had everything on this menu, delicious but my grilled fish tacos... I would have expected more. Usually with your fried fish tacos you get cabbage and tomatoes. I have an intestinal disease so I have to eat things to my diet. I ordered the grilled fish tacos and for $4.25 all you get is crema, cilantro y cebolla... you would think you would get the same toppings that you'd get on the fried fish taco on the grilled fish taco. I asked and the waitress and she kindly got those for me but I kind of expected the similarity between the tacos. Other than that, we're still eating here, it would be a nice upgrade for grilled fish taco.

One of our go to places in San Diego. Easier parking and larger indoor space than the original location. Our favorites are the Seafood Broth, Fish Tacos, and the Garlic Shrimp Tacos. Make sure to squeeze line on everything, and add extra chipotle sauce, or the red seafood sauce. To your tacos. Another great item to try are there seafood tostadas. Is it a first date place, yes, perfect updated casual atmosphere and great food. Don't think I have had anything that I did not like here.
