I've never written a review before but this time I have felt really compelled to. The customer service was kind of poor, the person taking my order seemed impatient and impersonal, just overall annoyed I was ordering and removing stuff from my pizza. Then I waited like 40-45 mins for my pizza when they said it was going to be 20 minutes and usually I understand but when I got home and started actually eating the pizza I was disappointed. It wasn't bad per SE, but it just wasn't good. It was almost flavorless, just eating some bland pizza that I spent $41 on. I will admit the garlic twists were kind of good but even the ranch it came with was bland. Overall, I recommend spending your money elsewhere.

This place is NOTHING like it used to be. Ordered Lonnies Instant Love Deep dish pizza, not the same at all. The owner was rood, terrible service. Will never go back!!

I used to order Lonnies Instant Love Deep Dish Pizza here, and it was the best. What a disgrace to say it's the same. The sauce was not at all the way it used to be. What an insult to the original owner. This owner has NO class, will never go back!!

I had wrote a review back in 2017 when the old owner Lonnie had the place. Over the past few years the new owner, Asum (sp) has lived up to my pizza needs! He is always friendly and makes incredible pizza. The garlic bread sticks are amazing. I am very picky about my pizzas too. I wanted to make sure that I had updated my bad review to reflect how important ownership and caring about the customer is. My kids beg me every week to order from here.

We have gone here since the 80s. Best Pizza in Citrus Heights! I'll take this pizza over Round Table pizza any day of the week!

We went here for the first time last night and really enjoyed the food and the service. The pizza was really delicious with fresh veggies on it. Everyone who worked there was very friendly and helpful. It's always nice to go into a spot that seems to have a lot of regulars as well.

The garlic bread was good but the pizza was tasteless. The total for the 3 items and soft drinks was over $100. I won't be going back when there's a Round Table a half mile away that's a superior pizza for nearly the same price.

Very tasty, but they don't seem to have a thin crust option, which I prefer.

Hate going mediocre on the local spots but the little things unfortunately added up in a negative manner here. 1st off, stop skimping so much on your veggie pizza. The bell peppers are the mini bell peppers bought by the bag from food max across the way. Then to only put a couple on there Is outrageous. 2nd thing that epitomized the line of "it's not the price but the principle" was the $1.15 credit card fee. Laughable amount but shows desperation and greed on a business owner. BAD look that is not worth hustling your consumers on. Really want to love my local spots so hopefully this review serves as a lesson because little things like this will prevent regular customers from coming back. Combo pizza was pretty darn decent tho.

Pizza was good Ordering on their website is confusing and I'm computer savvy. 3 stars because the deep dish I ordered came out like the original with hardly any crust. I specifically told them I like a large crust like I seen in so many of their pictures...

Shouldn't be allowed to keep the Alonzo's name. The new owner has changed everything. The crust is no longer crispy on the outside and chewy inside. Rather, it's a bland, semi-fluffy crust that could be made by Pillsbury. Gone too is the signature sweet and simple sauce that made Alonzo's pizza so distinctly good. Perhaps the saddest part is the lack of genuine friendly service that Lonny brought to the place for decades. We arrived at about 8:30pm and there was one family already there eating. I guess they close at 9:00 and the owner wanted us out because he brought our pizza out at about 8:50 in a box and bid us good night. Won't be going back.

This pizza was fair. $40 for pizza breadsticks and salad. We ordered no onions and they put onions on it. The veggies on the pizza were not cooked well. The garlic twist breadsticks were good, but the pizza was small for the price.
