Saturday evening, called in at 6:47 pm to see if reservations were available sooner than one hour, they confirmed and booked it. We arrived 5 minutes late (7:35) and were told it would be five or so minutes. Although it was less than two. First thing I noticed was the lack of a large crowd. Second thing I noticed was the plates for appetizers were stacked and I found them unwashed per the pictures. Third thing I found was the silverware wrapped in a cloth napkin were also dirty. Next it was more than fifteen minutes before our waitress came to ask if she could get us waters, I asked for a soda. Almost ten more minutes passed before the drinks came to the table. I was quite thirsty so I ended my first drink fast. Again the waitress was no where to be found. I asked my companion to go up to the bar for a refill, as she did the waitress passed her and my companion asked if it was ok to go to the bar to get it and received a yes. This next part is long and I have reduced the confusing banter between me and the waitress.., My companion ordered a burger and I wanted the "Steakhouse Cobb Salad", this is where it becomes confusing. The picture on the menu states As previous "*". When I ordered it, the waitress asks if I wanted to add a protein, I asked how many grilled shrimp were n the add on order, she didn't know for sure. I said, I wanted both the stark and shrimp if it was at least SIX Shrimp, otherwise I wanted steak and chicken. Now If you look at the add on pricing the Steak is $4 and the Chicken is $2 and the Shrimp is $3. When the waitress returned I asked for an answer and she said she did not get it yet. Then she returned a little later and said so you wanted both Steak and Chicken, I said yes, she then informed me that ordering a second protein on the salad changed the pricing structure so the chicken would now cost. $9. ????? The pricing structure on this $16.99 salad only includes fresh greens, fresh avocado, tomato, applewood-smoked bacon, blue cheese crumbles and the greens pre-dressed in a vinaigrette. I was shocked and taken aback and troubled. She then stated that the base salad is a beginning to add protein to. So for me to get what I intended to get would be $16.99+$4+$9= $29.99. On the salad my final note is they forgot the bacon. Our food order did not arrive until we had been seated for an hour, And for the entire meal we refilled my soda at the bar each time and I was asked by a friend if they provided the bread and that was a no as well. Was it because I was tired and not getting it, maybe but when I order a salad at other places it usually comes with some protein besides the bacon. Overall it was a disappointment, we went because we had a gift card. We most likely will not be going back. The waitress asked if I wanted to speak with her manager and I got a look from my companion that said let it be, so I said no.

I've been to Black Angus several times throughout the years, but it's when you have great interactions with the servers that make it memorable. Last night was one of those moments. Alivia was amazing, her smile, conversation and attentiveness made for a great evening. We had the Campfire Feast, which started off with their awesome cheesy bread and crispy Brussels sprouts for appetizers. The main courses were baby back ribs w/bacon blue baked potato for myself and rib-eye also w/bacon blue potato for my friend. Both were delicious and plentiful, thus requiring take home containers. The meal was finished with the chocolate cake, ice cream and hot fudge sauce. Overall a wonderful meal. I'm sure to return and will seek out Alivia for another great experience.

Went here with my family tonight for dinner. The service was excellent but the food was horrible. Some of us didn't even finish our plate and instantly started filling our stomach turning. Food was very dry. Some food even came out cooked properly. Worst dinner I ever paid for and spent over $200.

Went to Citrus Heights Black Angus steakhouse, expecting a very good meal? instead my friend ordered a ribeye steak, but when we got it, it was cut very thin. It looked like a flank steak or top sirloin? and the lobster was not cooked correctly so the food didn't taste that great?! I ordered oven batter fried shrimp. They were all dry, tasted lousy! One of the worst meals I've had in a very long time and we paid a lot of money for the food we got it was almost $100. It probably wasn't even worth $20!! the waitress never came back to fill my water glass. It was very bad service and the food was lousy. I would never go there again!!! I would've given them zero stars, but I would give at least one star for their effort but that's about it. I even asked the waitress why the steak was so thin it didn't look like a ribeye you would get at the market or any other place she said it was a thin cut. They cut it before they cooked it. I don't believe it.

Went here with the wife to use a gift card we were given. We did the Tomahawk experience and boy was it bad. We ordered medium and it came out well done, gray and tough. Unfortunately what I was expecting and I didn't bother having them re cook due to my appetite being lost at that point. Only good points were the shrimp cocktail and creme Brulee. Our server Jaclyn was friendly and apologetic.

This should be a 3.5 but I gave it a 4 because we will probably go back eventually. We were seated pretty quick with a reservation. Our server was professional but she seemed to give us minimal effort. We had to ask for bread and refills. Long story short, but the way she entered our order, we ended up paying more than we should have. I didn't realize it until we had already left. The food was better than good but not great. We ordered a sirloin and a filet and we really couldn't tell the difference. We felt like we wasted money.

Service was great! Steaks were perfect. We had the dinner for two and it was a great deal. We had the prime rib and ribeye steak with garlic butter. Definitely coming back here.

I loved my experience here and will be coming back soon. The steaks were perfect. If there was anything I had to point out that I didn't like, it would only be the lighting. Lol. We were sitting right under a light that was super bright, and it kind of bothered me the whole time. But it wouldn't stop me from going back.

Excellent from start to finish, as usual! Ashlyn T kept us well informed and served from start to finish. Ribeye, 2X lobster, shrimp, Caesar salad, 2X asparagus, Brussels sprouts, & Big chocolate cookie all perfect! thanks!

It was a second time in a row that the Blank Angus app worked all the way up until time to use the points and then it disappeared! I went in and changed password to try to get the app back but that didn't work. The app wasn't work until about 2 hours later! The same thing happened to us in 2023. The MANAGER won't even come talk to us about it. We had to call to talk to him. He stated their WIFI was working fine which is two different things. Sad.... We're not sure we want to go through that again so Cattleman's here we come!

We were with a group of 8 and decided last minute to go to dinner after playing pool at another location. One friend called the restaurant while I was using the Open Door app. He was told that there were no openings for 2 hours and I was able to confirm our spot on the app for about 20 minutes later. Once there, we waited 5 minutes so they could set a table for us. They put us in the back section and it was quiet enough to hear each other, which is not very often the case with 8 people in a restaurant. The server was great and food was yummy. The manager even stepped up and brought water and took drink orders. Kudos to Black Angus AND Open Table!

Excellent service and food. As always. We had 9 people to celebrate a birthday. They sat us in a section of the restaurant that didn't have any other people so it made it seem like a private room. Easy to hear and plenty of room for all of us. We began with delicious cocktails in the bar. Dinners ranged from crispy shrimp and chicken sandwiches to prime rib with lobster tails. The lobster tails were a good size, two to an order and perfectly cooked. Everyone loved their meals. Server was attentive and we kept her busy with drink orders and water refills. And to top it off, she gave the table an extra cookie with ice cream for the table. Always a good time with good food at BA!

Always consistent good service and excellent food quality. We have been visiting this location for 30 years and so glad it is still here. Great staff, steaks are always cooked perfectly.

Usually the food is outstanding. When we went last night the prime rib was unusually dry. Usually when I order the steak at medium it's delicious and moist. While the steak still tasted good it was unusually dry. So much so, that I used the au Jous to dip it in (I never do) the au gratin potatoes and appetizer were perfect. So was the mud pie.

Wonderful experience! Ribeye was delicious, cooked to perfection and tender enough to cut with a butter knife. Our server Shawn W. was attentive and personable. We look forward to our next visit.
