I wanted to try the turmeric latte but they were out of turmeric, so I ordered a matcha latte which was good. I was also really hungry this morning when I stopped but was sad that there was no food in the pastry case - it was totally empty.

Great menu. We got breakfast croissant sandwiches, a Matcha latte and a Strawberry freeze. The coffee items looked tasty and creative too. Service was friendly and quick but we were the only customers here for the duration of our stay and meal so I'm not sure how they'd do in a rush.

When I saw the news of a new coffee shop less than 5 minutes away from my home, I get pretty ecstatic. And those of you that know me already know I love the family-owned and operated coffeehouses. This takes me on a trip to the heart of Citrus Heights where I had the opportunity in trying out "BeanHeads Coffee". Located directly on San Juan Ave. and less than 1/4 mile from nearby Greenback Lane, this place opened their doors in August 2021. This is actually their 2nd location to open (as their first location opened in July 2021) in the Natomas area off of Northgate Blvd. & Del Paso Rd.I came here for the first time during the morning of Saturday 10/2/2021 at around 9:35am. Parking is easily accessible which is a plus on the days when heavier traffic occurs in the morning hours. When I first walked into the place, it is quite spacious but also quite bland. I'm not one that judges a business on how it looks on the inside but there was no artwork, no style, and just had plain walls. The ceiling was kind of cool with a nice square pattern but overall, this place needs a good interior designer to dress it up a little bit. Not to mention there were very basic tables with plastic chairs inside of the business. Now that I got that off my chest, this places does offer a respectable amount of coffee beverages. You will find your basic hot and iced coffees, teas, espressos, lattes, mochas, and blended coffee & fruit smoothies. They also have a small food selection including breakfast paninis, burritos, bagels, & croissants. They also carry a nice assortment of pastries including bear claws, muffins, loaf cakes, and cookies. During my visit, I went with a large "Iced Vanilla Latte" priced at around $4.50. Not a bad deal and less than other coffeehouses.Since there was only one customer ahead of me, my drink is ready in just a couple of minutes. Overall, I could definitely taste the espresso as well as a good portion of the vanilla. This was on the sweeter side but I enjoyed the drink from start to finish. All in all, the service, prices, and taste was all above average. I just think this place was be way better if it had more pizzazz to it by minor touch-ups to its interior. With that said and done, I am going to give the Citrus Heights "BeanHeads Coffee" an above average four stars.

The coffee is great and the owners are even better. Love the coffee and I like supporting local small businesses.

My wife and I have been going to this location since it first opened almost every single weekend. We love the quality of coffee and the employees there are wonderful. My only negative comment would be the food items are not consistent as far as products. The quality is great when they have it available, but they've taken steps to reduce the menu to be more consistent and just need to make sure they are better stocked.

I love going to beanHeads, normally they are open earlier but recently they've been closed after like 3 I think. But I go to the one off of auburn and San Juan. The owner is so freaking sweat and welcoming. He's genuinely happy to see each and everyone of us customers. Plus it's a nice place for a sandwich. I let this amazing barista, forgot her name sorry, but she's sleeved and has such a cool personality. We talked about haunted houses and renaissance festivals and literal houses that were haunted and effected us in some way. I love that for us lol, but yes definitely go support this business vs Dutch or Starbucks.

Great coffee shop! The prices are really reasonable, I'm even surprised how cheap my coffee was. I had a small iced caramel macchiato and it was only $4. The staff is super friendly and nice. I would for sure go here again.

I so badly wanted to love this place. Showing properties over in the Sacramento area, I was a bit early to the first one. I love giving local coffee shops a try, especially ones I've never been to before. BeanHeads was the closest one, so I went there! The shop was pretty dead -- one father/daughter in front of me getting their drinks to go, and then me. I ordered the breakfast sandwich (egg and cheese only - just my style). The eggs were frozen I'm sure, but nonetheless, I ate it - I was hungry, haha. The regular drip coffee was almost room temperature; disappointing but didn't really care to ask for a new one. The taste was pretty good, though. I asked for the wifi password, so I could do some work there, but they didn't have wifi. Overall, it was a little bit of a waste. The only thing good about this place is the worker. She was so sweet, and I wish nothing but the best for her.

I love the iced americano here, I drink them black and find most places taste burnt. They're super consistent here. The food that I've tried is great too!

I found this coffee spot by searching here on google maps and decided to take a chance. When I first pulled up it wasn’t what I expected the parking lot was completely empty and it looked closed but I noticed that that open sign was on. The person that helped me was very friendly. I was surprised that they didn’t have low fat milk for my caramel macchiato. The drink was just ok, kinda bland with not much flavor..I also tried an egg potato and cheese burrito which was OK however it was extremely dry.The store was still going through renovations the decor was pretty sparse

I finally stopped by to get some coffee from this place and I was not disappointed. Great tasting latte. And they also roast their own coffee beans. I recommend everyone to check this place out and I'm sure I'll be visiting again.

Haven't tried the coffee.... But the food I have tried and it was disappointing, lots of microwaving. I'll give it one more shot and try their drinks. The honey lavender late sounds yummy.

This place is a hidden gem! Ordered the Honey Lavender Latte and it was a dang good cup of coffee. Not too sweet, smooth as a bald head and filled all the way up! You know how those other places like to not do that! The only thing that I have as a criticism is that they ran out some key ingredients pretty early in the day. These things happen. . . and I'd gladly have them run out of potatoes and sourdough every darn day if they keep making such good coffee!

Just moved back into the area and have been trying to find a new coffee shop to support. Came here and the food choices look good and priced decent they had a small coffee menus which is great because sometimes to many choices get overwhelming. Will be coming back again!
