I came here looking for a Recycle Center to turn in my cans & bottles, and I found amazing food here too! After turning in my recycling, I can reward myself with a taco or two or three! LOL! I added a photo of their hours for recycling.

Just a little market. Almost exclusively for any type of drinks including alcohol. Snacks a plenty.

I was initially relieved that I made it there before closing time, but when I pulled up, the gate was closed. Another vehicle was also waiting to drop off their recyclables. After a moment, a man walked up and I asked whether he worked there. He said yes so I thought he was going to open the gate. Instead, he pointed to his sign that showed they closed at 2pm, implying that I had gotten there too late. I checked the time on my cell phone and told him it was 1:56 (and by this time, I had already been waiting there a couple of minutes.) He just shrugged his shoulders and walked away. A moment later, a grungy-looking red-haired guy emerged from behind the gate - I ASSUMED to help us - but he just said, "We close at 2:00." I said, "It's not 2:00 yet." He said, "I don't know what to tell you. He had us close at 1:30 today." I asked whether they could/would go ahead and take our recyclables, since it [still] wasn't actually closing time and he said motioning me to the store, "You'd have to go ask 'em, but I don't think it's gonna happen." What horrible business ethics and zero customer service!But FYI, If you want great customer service at a place that's clean, professional, and transparent about the value of your recyclables, do yourself a favor and go to IVAN'S RECYCLING at 8006 Zenith Dr. The difference is like night and day. Their scale sits in plain sight of the customer so you don't have to wonder whether you're being treated fairly. The employees are clean, courteous, and professional and you leave there feeling like your patronage was appreciated.

This place is great! The guys that handle the recycling are very cool. I do all my recycling there.

I visited the recycling part today. The person taking care of weighing the items, is very rude when you ask a question. Smells like he just came out of the nearest dumpster. I know it's a recycling place, are used to work at a recycling place but I still knew how to take a shower every day. I weighed my bag of smash cans before I went in. Came to 25.4 pounds, however he says I only have 16.7 pounds. I would not recommend anybody going to this establishment to return recycle cans or any other type of recycling. I'll be looking for a new center for the next time. Slimming 8.7 pounds off my cans is a big deal to me. I will be advising federal weights and measures for them to investigate this establishment.
