I came here and ordered party trays for my family Potluck and I must say their food and service was excellent. Peking duck was fresh and flavorful. Green beans, fried rice, chow mein was a hit. Their sesame bread was delicious. Steve, the manager was very helpful took my order and staff was nice enough to help me carry out the food to my car. Honestly it's the simplest things like that now days matters because Service does matter. Definitely coming back here again to dine in.

I love Peking Duck. I love finding a good deal on Peking Duck even more. So when I saw some posts on NC Peking Duck, I knew I had to try it. What I didn't see is that they recommend you call a head of time to preorder the duck with at least an hour before you go. Since I didn't know that we had to wait an hour for them to prepare it. While we were waiting they brought out the rest of the other dishes we ordered. We came during lunch so along with the Peking Duck combo which came with duck soup, bok choy, we went with the filet of beef with peppers and XLB dumplings, we added two lunch specials of fish filets and braised pork with tofu. Everything came out quickly and super delicious. You can't beat the combo for $98.00 plus the two lunch specials for $12.99 each. We had to restrain ourselves from eating everything right away before the duck came out. Finally they brought the entree we went to NC Peking Duck for. A+ for the amount of pieces of duck and the skin was very crispy. I don't know if it's because of the prep time but the duck meat was lacking a little flavor of the seasonings I'm used to, but it still was delicious when you make your little wrap with the cucumbers, green onions, and the duck sauce. I would definitely go back and try the other combo that includes more items and also remember to preorder the duck at least an hour ahead of time.

This is my favorite Peking Duck restaurant in the area! I know we have couple of restaurants serving Peking Duck, but I recommend and only recommend this place if you are in Rowland area. Order 1 hour a head of time to make sure you got your duck on time. The duck is crispy and juicy, the wrap is thin but not dry, love it. Other dishes are good too! And oh! They make by order of their bao or pancakes! I always get the pan fried bao, it's the best! And the steam bao is good too. They are located next to mall on Colima and has large parking lots.

Located inside the ginormous plaza in between Preferred Bank and Mama Lu's Dumpling house. Lots of parking. Interior looks spacious with big dining area. Tables and chairs are bigger than the usual and can accommodate big parties. There are private rooms you can request/reserve if you want to avoid loud and noisy people (gets pretty loud in the general dining area). If you want to place an order to go, make sure to walk all the way to the back. Currently they have 20% off from 10:30am - 15:00 pm and 1700 - 2100. Exceptional customer service. I placed my orders to go and had to wait for them to prepare. One of the workers gave me a menu and recommended to call for future to go orders and they will give an estimated time for when the food will be ready. As I waited, the same worker apologized for the wait. I didn't mind as it was raining outside, plus the wait was not that bad. I ordered marinated pork bones, pork belly with tofu skin, and three earth veggies (eggplant, red and green bell peppers). Everything was on point in terms of flavor. I would come back to try other dishes!

Had my first company lunch here yesterday and the experience was on point. Their peking duck is my no.1 favorite since the meat was still juicy enough. Other dishes were a bit salty to me but my colleagues all enjoyed it. I'll probably be back soon to try out other dishes of them!

Delicious food and great prices. Most of the staff don't speak English, but that's how you know it's authentic

We went to try out NC Peking Duck on Monday. The waiter gave us a dinner menu and a lunch menu with 20% off Mon-Fri written across it. Our food took forever to come. Every table that was seated after us was already eating. The food was okay and the portion was small for that price. When the bill came, there was NO 20% off the total. I asked the waiter about the discount and he said today is a holiday. 20% doesn't apply for weekend and holidays. And I said I saw that, but today is not a holiday and why you give us the 20% off lunch menu and didn't tell us about it. The waiter said today is Chinese new year week. OMG! How long are you going to celebrate CNY and you should have told us when you seated us. Needless to say, we walked out unhappy and will never comes back again.

I've ordered takeout here a couple times. It's easy to do online, they have a special which is pretty cheap. Everytime I've came I've been greeted by this really nice employee. I'm not sure if he's the manager but he always makes sure the food is good and is very communicative. Food is really tasty, and very affordable. Would highly recommend if you are looking for some Chinese food.

Came here twice for my birthday. You have to call in to reserve the duck! So make sure you do that. We got a private room. Food was so good. Loved the fried intestines. And the duck was so juicy. It was very clean and well kept inside.

I called in to make a reservation day prior in the private room for 12 people. The manager was really friendly and glad to take my reservation. I was told that this restaurant has the best Peking Duck. I really enjoy a perfect crispy duck. Our table basically ordered 20 course off the menu to really try out this place and see what they have to offer. Also, make sure to let them know one day prior that your table is going to want the Peking Duck. The servers were really great even though we were in a private room, the staff still remembered us. They kept checking to make sure we didn't need anything. We had asked to start with the fish courses and work our way to meats and then pork. That was kind of a mix-up, as far as the order of courses coming out. Finally, the Peking Duck came out. The serving was really small, especially for the price, in my opinion. The taste was on point. My 2nd favorite dish was the pork leg. It was amazing, so nice and tender. Overall, the courses were delicious but not super outstanding, where we feel like we would want to eat there every other week. The staff were really friendly and nice and made the experience really well for us.

Just came here on a curious whim, but we love this restaurant already. All-around excellent Chinese restaurant with a clean and elegant interior, and they have private ("VIP") rooms for large parties too. Food-wise, as their name might suggest, they have mostly Northern specialties here, but you'll see scatterings of entrees from all parts of China represented. Their pork and cabbage dumplings were delicious, as well as their pork and pickled cabbage bao. The manager working that night (who also took our order) recommended that we try the pork and pickled cabbage as a bao instead of a dumpling, and that was a pretty good decision; definitely more filling. The sweet and sour pork spare ribs were also pretty good, but we still think Din Tai Fung does those better. We especially loved their vegetable dishes, in particular the bok choy as well as their tofu skin, edamame and pickled cabbage entree. Steamed rice is OK, nothing special, though I did find it hilarious that being a restaurant specializing in Northern Chinese cuisine, they used Thai jasmine rice instead of the premium japonica rice from Dongbei/Northeastern China (东北大米), but I guess the latter is harder to source and also way more expensive. Yes, I'm a rice snob, but using Thai jasmine for Chinese food is still alright in my book, just not the most optimal choice. Oh well. The staff here is super nice and accommodating, and very patient to answer questions regarding food allergies, and since my girlfriend has an allergy to chili peppers and bell peppers, they were able to make the bok choy without adding any chili. No language barrier here either, as the manager who took our order was very well-versed in English and knew a lot about the ingredients in their dishes. Still helps to know some Mandarin, though. As long as the request is reasonable, they will accommodate such exclusions or substitutions. The prices here do run more expensive than your average Chinese restaurant, but the portions are very generous and a bit larger by comparison, so it's still a pretty good deal. After all, they did put a lot of work into the ambiance and food quality here. The menu books here have hard covers and are like fancy picture books, which we thought was very nice. Also, unlike many other modern restaurants, there is a decent amount of sound-deadening material in the walls and ceilings here, and the noise level inside was acceptable. You could actually hear yourself think in here. Even though we got takeout, we still gave them a 20% tip because of the staff's patience and great attitude. Before we left, one of the younger staff members walked up to us and gave us two free complimentary cans of chilled soda, along with straws and a plastic bag to carry them. Really warmed our hearts that night. The sheer hospitality and ambiance here makes us feel like we're in Old Beijing. We wanted to try their signature roast duck, but we were in a hurry to get to our next errand and didn't have the 1-hour lead time available that the staff needed, so we'll definitely have to try that next time. I also heard that it's best to call ahead for the duck since it's a very popular item and runs out. Also wanted to try their shepherd's purse wonton soup but they did not have it available that day. We're definitely looking forward to coming back and trying their duck and other entrees too!
