Love this place. We're regulars and this small spot in a busy place feels warm and welcome. I always get the same thing but it never fails me. Small portion of beef belly with the house broth. Delicious food

The hot pot selections were great. The food was delicious and I had spicy miso pot and my husband had the sukiyaki pot! Both were delicious!! The portion sizes are based on which size you want to order. The servers were attentive and helpful. I would recommend trying to come when it's less busy. They tend to get a bit busy on weekend nights! But other than that the food and service was great!

I ordered a chicken with a miso soup base. I enjoyed it very much. I also added on more Tofu and Kimchi. They have a sauce bar where you can choose a dipping sauce with small add-ons such as green onions and such. I would come here again to try the other soup bases offered. Although slow traffic at the time of eating, the service was good, however the servers were busy being on their phones or sitting around. Atmosphere was nice.Vegetarian options: They have vegetarian options on the meat section, additional add-ons and broth section to allow vegetarians to have the same experience as those that eat meats.Wheelchair accessibility: The chairs can be pulled out to allow wheelchair accessibility.

I highly recommend this restaurant, and it is an excellent place to have hot soup on a cold or rainy day. The selection is good, and there are standard and premium options. Portion sizes ranging from 3 to 14 oz means you can select the best fit for your appetite. The staff here were friendly and kind, continuously checking up on us and asking if we needed anything. They even suggested what sauces and combinations work best with our meat selections. The miso soup was pleasant without being overly powerful in flavor. It complimented the chicken and tofu perfectly. The atmosphere here is excellent, with no loud music and nice relaxing vibes where we can eat peacefully. The place is clean, and there are no bad smells. There is plenty of ventilation so you don't smell the other tables' foods or what they are eating. The sauce station is always topped up and clean—no mess and clearly labeled.I highly recommend this location and will be back again.Vegetarian options: Vegetable plate with vegetarian soup options.Parking: Shar3d parking with other businesses in the plaza, all spots are open and free.Wheelchair accessibility: Multiple ramps located at regular distances.

I've been craving shabu shabu for a while so I made a reservation at AB for my husband, cousin and myself. With a reservations was easier because we did not wait. First, the waitress was very helpful with the menu, she clarified any questions and gave us tips like Rib-eye portion was small small so to order the medium instead. We were able to get yup and mix out doing sauce, I recommend the ponzu, so delicious. We ordered karaage which was delicious. My husband got fried rice and he said it was great, comparable to fresh Benihana fried rice. We got white rice. We got pork belly and rib eye, the meat was very fresh. All the veggies was colorful and fresh as well. I think I got the house broth which I thought was delicious. The pot maintains a hot temperature and the food cooks rather quickly. Overall, I would visit again.

The food tastes pretty good and the veggie plate was a nice selection but the small meat portion (3.5oz) is just too tiny for the price. Small portion is just 5 slices of meat, so I'd definitely at least get a larger portion. The sauces are serve yourself and the soup base you can choose from a variety (3 basic ones are free). Service was OK and the interior is a little bit dated. Should be better options in the area.

Besides dim sum, one of my top comfort foods is shabu and hot pot. I've had my fair share of shabu whenever the weather cools down, although I'll admit I'll had shabu even in the summer heat too. A friend and I were on our way to a different shabu place but drove past AB Shabu and decided to check out their reviews. The reviews looked pretty good so we changed our plans and dined here for lunch. I had pretty high hopes for this place, but unfortunately, this place ranks lower for me and I probably wouldn't come back. The staff and service is very good. They're attentive and very nice. But besides that, what I didn't like was: * Prices - They were much higher and the quality did not justify the high cost. I don't mind paying higher prices as long as it's worth it, but this place didn't cut it. For example, the chicken karaage appetizer was $8 for just 4 pieces of chicken, a side of imitation crab was $7 for just 5-6 sticks * Side of veggies - The bowl of veggies that came with my meal was about 90% cabbage with sprinkles of udon noodle "pieces", a few pieces of shimeji mushrooms, 2 slices of carrots, 2 slices of kabocha pumpkin, and 2 pieces of tofu. I would've preferred some more variety of vegetables or meat in here. * Broth selection - I had the bone broth and it was tasty, not too salty, but there were only 4 base broths. The other options were add-ons for $3+

My family were feeling shabu for the night. We originally had a goto spot whenever we felt like eating shabu (will not mention their name), but there was a super long wait, so after going through yelp and found this place.Food: The portion was decent. The meat was good and fresh. Service: family oriented restaurant. The owner was very nice and attentive. No issue.Ambiance: little outdated interior design, but no issues.Overall, we were pleased and left with a full stomach.

Good Service, Quality Meat (pause) and Decent pricing. Been going for couple years now. No real complaints. Loving the sauce bar. Going with the family is always a good time. Selection of stuff to boil is good from fish balls to pork slices and beef slices. Veggie selection is on point as well.
