I use to come here alot but I'm deciding not to come here anymore. I came in at 230 and they said they close at 300 so they gave me the hand to leave pushing me away. Also the past 6 months the servers are so rude, including the lady so disrespectful. I hate this place now.

My family loves going here and kind of disappointed in the service and the 2 male workers today. We were given a shared table but asked to be moved and because the other party was taking up most of the table. It was slightly busy so it was understandable for their frustration. As they moved us the 2 male workers decided to speak about us in Chinese. I have never had this interaction ever but very disappointed. I have worked as a server for years and understand what it is like. But to be talked about just for asking to move tables was kind of uncalled for. Throughout our experience we were ignored by the two male employees. The lady worker was very nice and was trying her best to help.

DIY shabu shabu/kbbq all in one burner!! what a concept! Never been to a place like this, so there was a learning curve on what to do. Fridges in the back have an assortment of plates with different shabu or bbq ingredients, all priced accordingly. broth is provided by the server, so just load up on plates and bring it back to your table for cooking. Food was pretty tasty, but place looks like it could use an update.

Same comments as I have for the MP Location:I know Cocary doesn't always get the best reviews. Some of it is probably service related, some of it is from the age of the venue and that there have not been many updates made since they opened. However, I have been going to Cocary on and off since I was about 6/7, since before they were at this location and started down the street. For me, it's been consistent. I know what I'm craving when I go and I know what I'm going to get.My go tos are veggies and mushrooms in the soup with the occasional pork blood cubes. Lamb for BBQ on the grill portion. Usually white rice but the occasional craving for the yam congee. I can usually go through 2-3 plates of the lamb and just whatever veggies I have room for that day.One of my favorites is the broth. I will usually sit there and go through 3-4 bowls of broth each time I'm there. Two complaints that I do have, it's hard to keep the grill portion of the cooktop hot enough to get color on the meat while also not hard boiling everything in the pot. If the soup becomes too condensed, then I just add some water so it doesn't get too salty. And on a hot summer day, the AC isn't on very high in the dining room. It usually set to 82-84 and eating hot pot causes sweat but I still go anyways lol. Just drink enough ice water and eat quick.I know that sometimes when it gets busy, it takes a while for them to round back to the table for service. I don't mind getting things like water, broth or extra bowls and plates on my own since they are out in the open area and easily accessible for guests. Since you already have to cook the food yourself, I don't mind self-service add-ons either.I also tend to go for lunch when there is a discount. So I can usually fill my belly and go home happy at around $25.Definitely a place I will be visiting often.

The people who come here will still come here despite the reviews. This is an OG spot where it use to be $1.50 a plate now because of inflation is $4.99. The quality of food items remains low but it's a cool concept, you get bbq and hotpot all in one go. Definitely don't take your date here but coming with family of 5 you can't find anywhere cheaper with meat and seafood.

One of the family's favorite spot to go because you can get a little hot pot, a little bbq, and there's never a wait! No, its not AYCE. Yes, you pay per plate.Grab your own everything, including a build your own sauce bar. They don't start taking any of your empty plates until you're done, so you better brush up on your stacking skills! Our favorite meats are the lamb and the intestines. Our favorite veggies are the cucumber salad and mushrooms. They also have these fruity jello desserts. Not amazing, but good for the money.

I have been coming to this place for years now and I can honestly say I've never left disappointed. The food is so comforting and delicious and the ambiance is very laid back. Everything is customizable, you literally choose what you want to grill and what you want in your soup. You can't go wrong. You get up to get whatever you want; however, the servers do pay attention to you and will make sure you always have enough broth or a drink.

Boyfriend wanted hotpot and I wanted something soupy and we were going to get the pho around the corner but saw this place! Best kimchi we’ve ever had. Loved all the meats and flavors. Will be coming back for sure!!

Their prices are getting higher, from $2.99 before, to almost $6.00 per small plate alone. Big plates cost $8.00 now. Thank god I don't go there often anymore. For 2 people, I paid a total of $92.

It's my birthday that my children chose this place.where they have Korean BBQ & Hot Pot Shabu Shabu and all you can eat to cater this picky mom who only eat certain meat and fish while others love seafood as well. The meats for BBQ were of good quality and size. There were good choices of meats for hot pot and the variety of vegetables and other seafood are very impressive.Surprise me that the price for weekdays & weekends is only a dollar difference. One last thing, their ice creams are very good especially the green tea favor.I really love this place.

Service is ok. They don't really come around to help. There is one broth unlike other places. Everything is flavorless you have to add salt. The food quality is fine. Place isn't bad but it's nothing magnificent. Jazz Kat is cheaper and better by a lot. Also the bowls are children bowls. You can't pour much soup in there.

I've been going to this place since I was a kid and this place has not changed at all. We love this place for family get togethers. There's always seating, and I don't think we've ever had to wait for a table. They accompany large parties and I like that we can all sit together at a large table. It can probably sit like 10-12 people. The food is delicious, I always get their beef because I have found that to be the best meat. I've tried the chicken and pork and lamb, but after cooking, it ends up to be pretty dry to me. I can eat their beef all night. Lol. What makes this place unique is that they charge by plate.. so you gotta be careful with how many you get. Now that I have to pay for my meal, I think about that now. Lol. I think their prices have gone up cause most plates were 4.99, which added up pretty quickly. I go here for the nostalgia.. and the BEEF. Lol. Definitely fill up on the AYCE rice cause you don't want to try and fill up on plate after plate of meat. It's going to end up costing $$$. Anyways, definitely come check this place out.. did I mention their BEEF IS BOMB? lol.
