I love their Chinese tamales, Taiwanese pastries, the sticky candies, turnip cake and sticky rice cake.

Many bakery items origned from Europe including the salty and the sweet items. Ones can find some special snacks from Taiwan and also more homemade fresh desserts. The other reason I recommend is the breakfast combo with both the drink and the sandwich ?.

This review is for the frozen pork and cabbage dumplings I bought from them. It only takes one bite to tell that the pork was not fresh. I would not buy from them again.

One of my favorite Taiwanese bakeries! The auntie at the front was actually quite nice. She gave me reheating instructions for the bread and food. I love their rice rolls (fan tuan) and their wife cakes (Mochi pastries).

All I had was the breakfast special which was a ham and egg sandwich and a drink. It was delicious. The soy milk even had a boba lid on it which I like in the car. The sandwich had lettuce, mayo, perfectly fried egg, slice of spam-like ham, and cheese on that super soft white toast. Hit the spot!

If you like Taiwanese breakfast, this place offers some of the more authentic breakfast sandwiches and egg pancakes around.

Date:7/9/23Best place to get freshly made Taiwanese Mochi!I came here often specifically for their mochi! Freshly made, pleasantly Q - textured, super fluffy soft glutinous rice flour wrapped with no too sweet filings- crushes peanuts, sesame or red bean's fillings, Highly recommend! Nutty aroma from the Peanut mixture with sugar is my favorite, not too sweet, so good. Call before because these mochi sell out fast!I tried their minced pork rice bowl( 碗糕)today, really like it! Steamed rice flour with savory minced pork and dry radish, topped with their homemade semi sweet garlic sauce so good! Sticky rice(台湾油饭) is pretty good here too! They do have freshly made assorted breads, taiwanese snacks, steamed buns, light meals, drinks and more here. Staffs are friendly too!

Everything is over price in this bakery. A loaf of planned bread goes for $5.50. Comparing to JJ bakery and Summary bakery Price almost doubled.

3/26/23 Next to Sobok Sobok is this bakery that has baked goods like cookies, mochi, foil wrapped goodies and even dried fruit and also savory goods (sandwich & such). The ladies were friendly enough but a bit short (not very welcoming) but efficient, not rude but just not the warm & fuzzy lot. I got some coconut butter cookies because it sounded like these would have a nice unique taste.Saw mochi at the counter which looked fresh, buy 2 get 1 free deal-so i got all 3: sesame, peanut butter & regular flavors.I tasted the coco butter cookie & it was good, nothing remarkable but it was different. I have yet to taste the mochi but these sure are nice & soft/fresh looking too! It is ofd that two bakeries are right next to each other, this one seems more like the one serving traditional Taiwanese goods.
