The chili oil they use has an amazing depth of flavor and I end up using it for all the other dumplings that I end up ordering (xlb, pan fried dumplings, etc).Parking: Huge lot with even more parking on the side of the property that never seems to get filled

If you're looking for a place with bang for the buck, this is it.I was craving for Xiao long bao, so I looked for several places near Hacienda Heights/ Rowland Heights area.Most of the places opened until 3pm and reopened for dinner, and this one was the only one that remained open.The restaurant may look not very clean to some people so I suggest you bring your own water or wipe down dishes before you eat. (I normally carry my own water, for I don't like the taste of tap water.)We went in for late lunch and was very surprised how decently their items were priced. Honestly, I didn't have much expectation, but their food exceeded it.Well, I was a bit disappointed that there was no cilantro in beef roll, and the pork dumplings dough was a bit thick though.But overall, they were all good, and again, you can't beat that price.Everything came out to under $50 for 5 dishes, and not to mention, four of us were very full.Just don't expect their food quality to be a high end, and I'm sure you'll leave with a happy stomach.

Both food & service are wonderful here. Their fish/leek dumpling is superb! I'm very sensitive in fishy smell, but this dumpling is just fresh, light weight but with great taste. Strongly recommend!

Nice little "Mom and Pop" restaurant with good food, good service, and really good prices. The pan fried dumplings were tasty and juicy, and the beef noodle soup was satisfying on a cold night. The flavor is lighter than other beef noodle soups I've had, but still good. Next time I'm going to try the other dumplings. The restaurant is located on Castleton near the spa, so it's easy to miss if you drive too fast. But it reminds me of little places I used to go to as a kid and I'll be back. Good food at really good prices - a great find in today's economy.

Located in a small shopping center across from Boomers on the way to Costco. Keep a look out since the signage isn't noticeable. Small restaurant with a few tables and a bit aged, but the pricing and mom & pop home cooking is what makes this place stand out. Taste of their dishes remind me of old school family cooking. Solid good tasting food. What's amazing is the pricing! Dishes here are about 1/2-2/3 the cost compared to other places. For example their pan fried pork dumplings (10 pieces) was less than $9 - what a bargain. In top of that, they tasted great - flavorful, juicy, and had a beautiful nice crust. Service is very good too. It's a mom & pop so set that as your expectations. Definitely will come back to try their other dumpling choices - there's quite a few. It's a bargain here!

Wow!! This place surprised me! They have such juicy and flavorful dumplings. I just came out but wanna go back already. I personally prefer their regular dumplings to xlb and can't wait to try all the different flavors they have. Oh and the fried rice yummmmm. Also ordered 3 more orders of fried rice and dumplings togo. The BEST thing is man the prices are crazy affordable. I wish this was closer to where I live. It is definitely worth the trip.
No frills, mom and pop type of restaurant. It sits in a very unassuming plaza but don't let that deter you! Food is DELICIOUS and AUTHENTIC and portion sizes are generous. Best yet - the prices are verryyy reasonable. - Hot and Sour soup: came out in this huge serving and was steaming hot. Hot and sour usually isn't my jam (personal preference), but my husband and in-laws love hot and sour soup, and my husband said that this is one of the best that he's had. - Pork and Cabbage dumplings: super flavorful and delicious! They have tons of different flavors that you can try, so I'll definitely be back to try more. I loved that they had options for varying amounts of dumplings. - Beef noodle soup: this was probably the star of the show! Broth was flavorful and hearty. I think they hand make the noodles themselves, which made it all the more better! They're thick and super chewy - sooo good!! - Xiao Long Bao: tasty but a little on the sweeter side. Not our favorite place for XLBs, but they were still solid. Personally, I'll probably opt for other dumplings instead next time. I'll definitely be back here again!! You can also get frozen dumplings and XLB to steam yourself at home... Will give that a shot next time too!
