I decided to stop here on my way home from work. I ordered a hollenbeck burrito better known as a pork chili verde burrito. It was disgusting. Please do not order. The pork was super dry and hard. The sauce was meh! I know I won't return to eat anything there. Service was fine but the restaurant part was empty. I sat in bar and ordered food to go. It was so inedible that at 830 at night I'm going to have to go get something to eat. It went straight to the trash after two bites. Want to believe they can do better but not on my dime. Good luck patrons who don't believe my review.

So, I rarely write reviews but decided to because I have been a tepeyac aficionado since the 70,s at the original El Tepeyac. I have been to this tepewakala 5 times within the last 2 years and have had four different plates and have been very disappointed every single time with the food. Service is always good but the food!!! Machaca burrito has been barely edible, mostly egg with barely any meat, beans and rice have no flavor. Take the extra drive and head down to the original and partake in Manny's pride and joy!

Great food! Pretty much identical to the original El Tepeyac. Place is always packed and the service is excellent. However, the margaritas are weak haha. I ordered an extra shot on the side because it felt like i was just drinking sugar

Ordered food to go and had a couple of drinks while waiting. The bartender goes above and beyond, making drinks and taking orders. Love her!

I wanted to like this place but its just not at the level. Margaritas were the best thing, chips were good, salsa tasted like it was from a can. I ordered the chile verde burrito & the sauce was not a traditional chile verde sauce- it was okay at best. The guy working at the bar was super friendly and the woman came off w an attitude- even my significant other noticed. Not going back, I can have a better experience at home.

Service was okay. Food was not good to mine or my wife's liking. Chips had an aftertaste, and it's 8pm still burping up the chile verde burrito and chips. Mimosa was flat.

Food is not great, and the waitress keeps forgetting the orders and bringing wrong ones. You need to keep asking for things. The mariachi ladies were excellent, and the owner was very friendly. I will come back just for the mariachi.

The food was great, however the girl serving both my husband & myself were busy on her cell phone along with another girl who works there showing pictures of their "Hook ups" an then once they seen we where waiting came to our table.

Conveniently situated along the freeway, this restaurant boasts ample parking and a tidy ambiance, featuring distinct bar and dining sections. However, despite the clean surroundings and pleasant atmosphere, the initial service experience left much to be desired. Upon entering, a brief wait ensued before we were seated, with a waitress whose demeanor lacked warmth and hospitality, rendering the interaction rather impersonal.Moving on to the fare, the food arrived promptly, accompanied by complimentary chips, while we awaited our order. Opting for the classic burrito, we found it to be generously portioned, suitable for sharing among a group of 4-6 individuals. Yet, while the flavors were satisfactory given the price point, they failed to deliver anything remarkable, embodying the archetype of a standard Mexican eatery.Pricing-wise, our meal for four, inclusive of beverages, tallied up to $60, plus gratuity. In summary, this establishment serves as a convenient pitstop during travels or for a quick office lunch, albeit lacking in standout flavors or culinary innovation.
