I gave this a two only because I love their coffee and their pastries but it took them 22 minutes to make one coffee. This was Saturday, March 23, around 11 AM. I couldn't believe it. I had to check my receipt just to see what time I left and what time I ordered it.

First off I love 85 pastries, 85 in general is one of my fave spots But also as a tea lover, this specific location is the worst. I usually try to skip going here but it's the closest to me and I thought I'd give it a chance and this was by far the worst milk tea I've had. Its not even a milk tea. It's straight up milk and the gunk at the bottom is like a bunch of simple syrup with with blacks spots idk what thats from. As someone who used to work at a bakery, I completely understand conversing with fellow coworkers but bro was so busy talking that he didn't even bother to mix the simple syrup in. You don't just pump everything at the bottom of the cup and then pour the milk in. Even with me shaking my cup it's just stuck at the bottom. No milk tea flavor, just diabetes milk

This is my third time here but I'm now writing a review. I ordered a mango cake 2 years ago and when I came to pick it up they didn't have it. I was mad. I complained to the manager who said she would make it right and give me a complimentary cake on mother's day. I live 1 hour away but my parents live nearby. My gut told me to call before I pick up the cake. Wouldn't you know it no one there knew anything about this cake and what's worst is they didn't know who I was talking about when I said the managers name. This is the worst customer service! Now I'm giving them 3 stars mostly because it's 85 degrees bakery and their prices are reasonable and their food is good. But the customer service in Claremont really needs work!

Food is similar to another 85 degrees bakery. However the service is excellent and the staffs today were well trained and super friendly. I feel right at home. Every time I come back to visit my parents in Claremont, I always stop by to support the business

I used to go here all the time in the morning (around 7:30am) it used to be great, great service, good options, etc. I don't know what happened, but in the past months, they've gotten terrible with their organization. There's never anything worth buying in there. They hardly have any of their "top picks," which you think they'd have since they're popular, but nope. Even seeing them baking in the back, they bake the stuff people inside aren't buying. The last time I went, I walked out because there was hardly anything on the shelves and, again, nothing worth buying. It's shame because the food was always delicious and a great treat in the morning. I will miss this place, because I don't find it worth it to go there anymore.

Finally you can find 85C in IE. This one is the basic one and not the big ones you get in other LA neighborhoods. There is only a small sitting area too.

I'm not one to complain but this has happened twice already. I tried ordering on the app to avoid waiting for my drink and the app wasn't working. I waited almost 20 min for my drinks while people after me were getting their drinks before me.Once the final drink was done the girl didn't even call out my number. I had to assume it was mine and ask her . Just upset because this has happened twice.
