This Coffee Roaster is truly a specialty one! I ordered Cappucinos and it tasted really good. It has a hint of citrus and stronger milk chocolate. I also got a bag of beans, which also had the same tasting notes. Costs for a cup of coffee and a 12oz bag of beans are just on the average side for a Specialty Coffee Roaster. They are also serving unique Iced espresso drinks, but description of each title is not on the board, so you need to ask for it. ?☕️

Favorite coffee in Claremont...or virtually anywhere! Delicious and inventive. The line can be intimidating, but they move quickly and everyone is so kind. ADORE the ambiance. Great for remote work. Love love love!

Been going here for a few years now and my overall experience has been good. Especially early on, but my girl and I haven't been coming around as much being that our cappuccinos have been hit or miss

very tasty latte! polite and friendly staff. stylish room, many tables. and there are still a lot of people who want to drink coffee. While we were sitting and drinking coffee, the line did not end. Obviously the coffee shop is popular, that's cool.

Latte 10 out of 10. The grains used are good, milk and temperature in moderation. The girls are great, nice and positive. Big queue, but it's understandable - delicious! I will definitely come again

This place was awesome! Long line & no available seating. I would imagine you have to wait out some seating, or come early or possibly late in the day. The drinks options are ingredients are worth a visit. Just don't expect to find a spot to sit.

Amazing coffee! Menu offers several unique coffee blends; I tried their "Courageous" and was delighted with the bourbon brown sugar concoction.

I was just passing by and got curious about this minimalist cafe located in the historic Packing House. I noticed its a good hang-out place for students and place for friends to meet up. It was busy when I went and the line was long, it's because the barista takes time to answer questions you may have about your drinks. I love their Affirmation Lattes! I got to try their seasonal "Graceful" Latte which is a combination of Matcha, Lavender and Ube, my favorite flavors in one drink! Im glad they have milk substitute, too!

Similar to other negative reviews, I have to agree that the customer service and efficiency with getting the line moving is a problem. The coffee is always amazing and I am a loyal customer but there is a common theme with the staff and it really sours the experience. In particular, there is one staff member named Liz who is very pretentious, cold, and rude unless it's a friend of hers or someone she likes. I have witnessed her, on multiple occasions, be very nice and friendly to the people in front of me then ignore me or be passive with me, and then go and be nice and friendly to the customers after me. I literally have never had an experience with her where she wasn't rude or passive to me. I just started going here and I don't know this girl so it's confusing to me that I'm treated like this. Everyone should be treated the same and this should be the top priority of all staff working here. It's sad that I'm paying for coffee and getting mean girl attitude on the side for free.

I've been going to this spot forever (since this place used to be Augies/A la Minute and when they reopened as Iron & Kin) and normally I always have a good experience here. I love the coffee and the matcha quality, both are great! Today I visited in the morning and my barista was nice, but the girl at the register warmly greeted the person in front of me, and then skips over to the person behind me. She looked at me in the eye too, then just skipped over. The last few years I've been coming here I've never had this issue, and every other person I've encountered has been so nice and courteous, but honestly this experience just put me off as she came off as rude (and only to me). I still love this place, but that just felt like excluding behavior. Hence my 4 stars instead of 5. I am a quiet person, but I am polite. I got the vibe that I wasn't worth greeting because I don't come in as regularly as the two she actually greeted. I almost didn't post this review (out of fear of being gaslighted like it wasn't a big deal) but I actually think this kind of behavior gets overlooked a lot. It creates an environment that isn't welcoming to everyone who just wants to get their coffee/matcha, and promotes the exclusivity of a certain "type" of person that is worthy is being acknowledged. And that to me, isn't right at all.

Went around 2:30 today, drink was made quickly and was pretty good, got worthy which is a sweet vanilla fig latte, and barista was nice. 3 stars cause cashier was a douche, a dude wearing a beanie, did not acknowledge me whatsoever and having a convo the whole time with the barista but had audacity to stare at me when tip option came up. Probably just a bad day for customer service.

One of my favorite places to hangout in Claremont. They honestly have some of the best coffee in the area. I usually get a cortado / gibraltar, and if I need something with a lot of caffeine I'll get a cold brew! I also buy my coffee beans from Iron & Kin. They source the beans and roast them to perfection - I can honestly say that their coffee is the best around and highly recommend checking them out.
