The danishes are phenomenal, the apple cheese ones in particular are everything! The cookies are my go to as well, they have the perfect balance between being soft and crusty around the edges! Definitely will continue coming back!!

I loved Some Crust so my husband and I decided to go with them for our wedding cake. They were very nice and informative, and we picked a design from their book of cake styles so they 100% knew what we wanted. I also had my grandparents cake topper from their wedding that I wanted placed on the cake and Gaby (the person we met with that helped with our cake tasting) said to bring in a template of how big this cake topper is so the cake decorator would know exactly where not to decorate for the top of the cake. The day of the wedding comes and we see that the cake is NOT the design we chose. The design was not the same and the cake topper hadn't even been placed on the cake. We didn't let it bother us on our day but a week later, I reached out to Gaby who completely did not apologize or even attempt to correct this but instead made it sound like it was not Some Crust's fault and made a whole bunch of excuses. I sent her a picture of the cake we wanted and what they gave us and there hasn't been a reply since. If you decided to get your cake here then be prepared for this to happen. Below I put the picture of what we ordered vs. what we got. Pretty cake but not what we paid for.

Not too good. It's been here a long time but their quality is only fair. The last thing I bought here, a lemon danish, was frankly unappetizing.

Amazing buttercream but severely dry cakes. Are they freezing them? Not fresh. Falls apart when sliced like stale cornbread.

Tried three pastries to go. All of them were huge, pleasantly flaky and tasty. I especially liked the bear claw, which seemed to be actual size for a grizzly bear. The pastries were attractively arranged. It was hard to decide which ones to purchase, they all looked so good.

I cannot sing enough praises for Some Crust bakery! My experience with them was absolutely phenomenal, and it's a relationship that goes back to my childhood. As a lifelong Claremont resident, Some Crust has been a staple in my life, and their delicious cookies have been a source of joy since I was a little kid. From their thumbprint cookies to their sugar cookies, every bite is pure bliss. And let's not forget about their mocha chocolate chip cookies - simply divine! So, when it came time to plan my own wedding, there was no question in my mind that our cake had to come from Some Crust. I wanted to infuse our special day with the same nostalgia and flavor that I had grown up with. I reached out to Some Crust in late September for our March wedding, and from the get-go, they were incredibly accommodating. Gabby and her assistant guided us through the cake tasting in December with such warmth and professionalism. While we had some vague ideas about what we wanted, we were open to suggestions, and they were instrumental in helping us bring our vision to life. Despite not having a concrete concept, they patiently listened to our preferences and offered invaluable insights. I appreciated their willingness to work with us, using photos of their previous creations as inspiration to craft our own unique cake. In the end, we opted for Some Crust's standard flavors - white cake with ganache and chocolate cake with raspberry jam, as well as a white cake with strawberry filling. The cake was an absolute showstopper, garnering compliments from all our guests. It perfectly captured the essence of what we had envisioned, thanks to the meticulous attention to detail that Gabby and her team put into every step of the process. The delivery was prompt, and working with Some Crust was an absolute breeze. I'm beyond grateful for their outstanding service and unwavering commitment to excellence. Supporting a local business like Some Crust is not only a pleasure but also a privilege. I'm forever a fan! Thank you, Some Crust, for making our wedding day even sweeter!

Such a cute spot!!! I ordered chai latte tea. It was so good! It's a small little cozy bakery with fresh bread, cupcakes, cookies, pecan bars, cakes made to order, coffee and much more. Stop by and check them out. The staff is super sweet and quickly serves you. I bought Almond drop cookies. They had jelly and chocolate drops.

This is the older of the two established bakeries in the Claremont business district. Everything is excellent. I can’t tell you my favorite item, as I don’t want everyone else to get it before they’re gone :

Yummy pastries! I really enjoy their cheese Danishes and fruit pastries. You'll also be surprised on how large their pastries are. I find their bread to be hit or miss in terms of texture and freshness. Sometimes, I get a soft and fresh loaf; other times, the bread is too dry. I recommend arriving early as items do sell out quickly. Some Crust has many loyal Crustomers (Some Crust's term for their customers), and there is high demand for these sweet treats!

Thank you for making an incredible cake for my bosses birthday back in Oct 2023. After reading all the great reviews I placed my first time order. My only request was to make it Chicago bears themed. It wasn't only an amazing looking cake but it was also delicious!! Thank you

The citrus scone is divine! And they will even heat it up for you. There is no seating inside, but there’s a cute area outside to sit with a view of the mountains facing north. The coffee is OK. The service is friendly. This is a great little bakery.
