I stopped by for breakfast, since Yelp had good reviews. Absolutely delicious breakfast. Even their coffee was fabulous. I had the scrambler. Very lovely service. Left feeling full & grateful.

Got lucky n arrived on chili relleno day, boy were they good! Homemade chips were also good (we ate the entire basket). The burrito was small but full of shredded beef. Crispy beef taco rounded out our meal for two. Will return!

Absolutely perfect. The chips were whole tortillas as another review mentioned but they were fresh and extra tasty. The salsa was to die for. A very quiet extremely friendly place with delicious home cooked authentic food. The drive out here was beautiful as well.

We were here to visit the area on a Saturday afternoon and in looking up restaurants we found “Shortys”. It was a great place with a friendly waitress and good food. We would definitely come back!
Just as I remembered, the most amazing , simple home cooked Mexican food that is damn delicious. Bonus is the beautiful drive to Clarksburg.

I'm giving 3-stars for the service, since the service s great! However, the food is not the same! I've been going to Shorty's since the 80s and today I looked forward to Shorty's burritos, rice and beans. The burrito definitely changed as it had added red Chile with a strong taste and on the salty side. The beans were okay and the rice was slightly under cooked and redder than the original Shorty's rice. I highly recommend that the restaurant keep Shorty's recipe if they want to loyal customers to return. Sad, but I hope they revert back to Shorty's food!

Stopped by to check this place out, based on my coworker's recommendation. Boy was I blown away! Trish was THE BEST HOST and gave us sooooo many amazing recommendations for the area. The food was so delicious and unexpected. 10/10 on service and food. This will be a staple lunch/brunch spot for us going forward.
