Ambiance - nailed it Staff - great Skips Dip - insanely good Toppings - generous House salad - solid Pizza - an absolute floppy mess. You couldn't pick up a single slice (even with two hands) without it drooping and losing toppings left and right. It was so bad it ruined the rest for me. I've been here several times over the years and had really high expectations from previous experiences but was so let down. I really hope this was a one off. You can't be a pizza place and serve sloppy, floppy pizza. Be sure to order your pizza well done when you stop by just in case.

Great pizzas! Young energetic and accommodating staff. Great place to take the kids out to dinner! At the Clayton restaurant there is a small play structure for the little ones, arcade with games for those a little older. (Bring quarters!) Great menu! Pizzas, salads, soups and some pasta. Eating Al fresco during the summer months is perfect.

Black & white pizza was great!! The outside seating was nice and toasty under the heat lamps. So glad it's open late too.

Walt from Walt's Adventures here in Clayton, California and I'm at Skipolinis pizzeria. This restaurant is unlike any other pizza destination you have, most likely, encountered. Granted, they have the same enmities like indoor and covered heating outdoor seating like their competitors. What makes them unique is their customer service for they treat customers as if they themselves were the owners. We were immediately greeted, ordered two small sized pizzas and then was encouraged to purchase a refillable than individual drinks for the better deal. Not more than 20 minutes later, not our numbers but names were called the waitress who personally brought us our meals. Their pizzas were probably the finest crafted that I had the pleasure of consuming. If you want to visit a fine family restaurant with awesome pizzas, go to Clayton.

Our team needed a place to meet and share a meal! This was perfect to organize at Skip's! Able to reserve area in front, under shade, and Heaters!!! The boys had a table to eat at together and the whole experience was amazing. We brought our dog and Kat was so sweet and brought out a water container for him Can't wait to plan the next gathering to celebrate with the team!

Great little restaurant, hands down one of the best pizza I've ever eaten. Great atmosphere inside, outside you can sit under a big very nicely decorated tree, awesome place.

Sorry Skipolini's, after over 40 years of being our favorite, but always the most expensive pizza restaurant, for both dine-in and take-out, your skimping of sausage on our last 3, take-out pizza's is OVER. The last, a large "double sausage" (at an additional cost) and mushroom pizza that was just delivered. 35 each, bacon bit sized, pieces of sausage and 88 pieces of regular sized mushrooms, which looks about normal. Looks exactly like the last two pizza's with skimpy sausage that were delivered, but which were NOT "double sausage". So no more take out. At least when dining-in at the restaurant, which we will continue to do, I can complain directly to staff if something is wrong and get it corrected immediately, because when their pizza's are made correctly, Skipolini's does make the best pizza. The restaurant it self is great with super ambiance and the staff, except for the "Sausage Nazi" are all friendly and helpful. Wait, hold on. My wife just called to complain about our pizza. Wow, Skip's is reversing the credit card charge and comping our take out dinner tonight, stating next time to call our order in directly to the manager, so everything will be as we want it. So there you go, Skipolini's is the best pizza restaurant proving not only do they have great pizza, but they also care about and take care of their customers. I guess the higher price is worth it. Thanks Skip's.

DO NOT HAVE YOUR ORDER DELIVERED! They'll mess up every way to Sunday. Specific instructions left & they did not follow at all. Left pizza on mail box, no notification, pizza sat outside & got cold until we called for an update. Don't care about a refund. Terrible service, manager was out of line calling us a scammer.

Ordered delivery pizza to my place, my directions were not followed. No notifications came through that the order was on the way or that it had arrived. It sat outside getting cold until I called them. Manager accused me of scamming him because I asked for a refund. Then I explained the specific directions I gave them and the manager accused me of lying. Terrible manager & way to run a business- I don’t care about the refund but why no notifications? Why accused a customer of lying! Outrageous!

We had an outdoor baby shower for my daughter. It was chilly outside, and the heaters were out of propane. The staff kept us updated that propane was on the way. The food is always good. The atmosphere is a relaxed, comfortable environment for families. They do have a play area for the kids.Dietary restrictions: They do have gluten free pizzas.Kid-friendliness: They have a kid play area.Wheelchair accessibility: I didn't see any placard parking. But they do have ramps. They did not have automatic doors.

Would be cool if they could add a 3rd register somehow. iPad maybe? When busy the entrance gets a bit crowded and can take a while with only one or two employees ringing you up. I assume firecode prevents a 3rd register but there should be another way for busy hours.Only real ding I can offer is for the cost. Zip code related I guess. House salad is mediocre at best and you pay a bunch for it. Pizzas are in the premium price category in my opinion. At least for the East Bay.Aside from that? Food is good, service is good, free beer if the keg is mostly foam, etc.

Will always be my favorite pizza spot. Started going there in the late 70s, early 80s. This local spot has a lot of history & great pizza.
