My family and I had an incredibly disappointing experience at The Old Town Cafe today. We endured a 45-minute wait only to be served the wrong order, which was also cold. Seeking resolution, we asked to speak with the manager. Sadly, upon his arrival, his demeanor was disrespectful and shocking. It was disheartening to witness the head of the restaurant conducting himself in such a poor manner. To add insult to injury, his final words to us were dismissive and rude, stating "pay and get out." This level of service is unacceptable and has left us deeply dissatisfied.

Haven't been in this place since it was the Corner Cafe 15 years ago. Went in at 10 am on a Sunday and were seated quickly. The server was very nice and attentive. As for the food, the chicken fried steak was tender and had good flavor. When the classic Benedict came out and I saw the thickness on f the slab of ham, I thought I wouldn't like it, but the ham was super tender and tasted great. However, the super star of the meal was the biscuits and gravy. It was excellent! The only thing that kept this from 5 stars is that it took over 30 minutes to get our meal. Fortunately, we weren't in a hurry and our server kept us updated on the progress. We will definitely come back as it's nice to hit up a breakfast place in Clovis that you don't have to wait 30 minutes to get a seat.

They have a whole section on the menu for eggs benedict, but it didn’t have hollandaise sauce and the ham was so minimal (see pic of my hand for scale) - not worth $5 let alone $15. After waiting 25 minutes with barely anyone else there, I will never be coming back. Go elsewhere!

I have lived in Clovis for a year now. This is the first time I have come to Old Town Cafe. I will definitely be coming back. The service, the food everything was great. The pancakes were a little hard on the side but they were still great. Can't wait to go back.

Great picturesque spot with excellent breakfast on a nice autumn morning sitting outside. The Cali Benedict and French Toast were both delicious!

One of my favorite places to eat in Clovis. The service is outstanding and the food is delicious. This a place where friends and family can meet and share a meal at a leisurely pace.Kid-friendliness: I first ate there with my grandson who is a picky eater and is on the spectrum. He ate most of his lunch. The servers were so kind and listened to how he wanted his sandwich.Wheelchair accessibility: Wheelchair accessibility is excellent .

My wife and I decided to try this place. We sat down and waited and waited and waited . The restaurant wasn't too busy. No waitress aver came to ask us for our drinks or anything. We waited a little longer and I told my wife let's go. Pretty sad that this day and age you feel disrespected and not valued as a customer. Will never step into this establishment ever again.. So many other options and we were treated like real customers and another restaurant. Common courtesy should be the standard with any employee working in the service industry.. no excuses!!Sorry I left the part out when we came inside the restaurant a young waitress told us to "sit anywhere we like"... as a business owner I would take this experience and learn from it.. not try to make excuses for bad service. If you have a sign that says " please wait to be seated" , but your employee says "sit anywhere you like" is that the customer's fault? Is that a good reason not to help or acknowledge your new customers? Yelp is a platform to learn from your customers feedback. If you choose not accept any responsibility or think customer is not always right, you will never grow as a business. My intent for this post is to make you aware of how you dropped the ball, and if you can't see that . Then maybe the restaurant business is not for you.. Learn from your mistakes and be grateful that we are providing your establishment this kind of feedback!! Have a huddle with your staff, and review your policies , as customers we could choose to dine anywhere, and many customers now choose Yelp to decide what restaurant to dine in. I would hope your number one concern would be how your guests are treated at your restaurant, and my wife and I were not treated very well.

We needed to grab a beverage and a quick bite to eat before heading to the airport to return home. We sat outside - service was fast and attentive. Their BLTA sandwich was simply the best BLT that I have ever eaten. The chocolate milk shake was pretty darned good as well. Wish we could have tried breakfast - looked great.
