I was pleasantly surprised by this place. The sushi is incredible and their spicy fried rice is delicious. I was a little disappointed when I got home though because one of our rules was not in the box. But I called and they offered to replace it the next time I'm there. I got the hot mama and the golden tiger. 5/5 for both rolls

I appreciate the fact that they hire teenagers but with that said they need to train them on hygiene. The waitress braided her hair in our eyesight and used her mouth and hands to open her hair clip. Without washing her hands grabbed our food and brought it out to us.i found that very unhygienic.

Ooi is our go to sushi place for Clovis! We're treated like family when we come and are always greeted warmly. The sushi rolls are huge with large portions of fish which makes it nice because you pay the same amount for a roll as some other sushi restaurants that are half the size, so the value seems great! They will also make special rolls for you if you have something in particular in mind, although their menu is extensive! My favorites are Lucky Dice, Hot Mama, Titanic, and Fresno.

4 guests on a Sunday evening. Plenty of room, but not empty. Atmostphere is not fancy - just losts of tables (no booths) and very littel decor. Service was up to par, friendly and fast. Our group had a mix of foods: popcorn shrimp roll, sashimi combo, a fancy rainbow roll, and the seafood udon. All of the sushi fish was fresh and prepared well. The udon noodles were cooked to spec. Everysone in the party enjoyed the food. Would eat there again, absolutely. Price was a tad high, but this is CA, so to be expected.

Today I got the rainbow sushi!!!! It’s incredible delicious! Fish is super fresh! ?? and it’s sticky which keep everything in one place (not falling apart) 100% recommendations !!! Very good!

Was in the market for some miso for my hubby's liquid diet before surgery, and the chef behind the bar was so kind. I was served some nigeri as I waited. The staff was kind and went above and beyond. Super clean restaurant, nice environment and delicious food! The fish was very fresh too! I will be back! Thank you, you made my day!

As a Sushi fanatic I have been to many places. I have had Sushi from Florida to CA and about 3 States between. I have been to over 50 different restaurants from nor Cal to Los Angeles and Ooi in Clovis CA is still my #1The Pink Lady and the Hot night (extra spicy) are the best there is. Do yourself a favor and explore the menu.

Food was almost a 4 star. But we went late so..... anyways the food was not bad it just could have been better. But again we showed up just before closing and got it as a carryout. Sushi was good. I think weay have just gotten a meal just thrown together at quitting time. But it was still good.

THEY CALLED THE POLICE and had them show up at my door for a simple error when they failed to charge my card after I gave it to them. They lied and said we refused to pay called 911 for an error they made. We all attempted to pay they just didn't charge us(Full story)V V V V V V V VSo we come order our food everytlhing is going fine until the bill came. 5 people in our party we all had sperate tabs. We went to pay they took our cards. 5mins go by they bring us our cards back assuming we all paid. So we walk out to the parking lot say our goodbyes about to leave. When this little waitress comes running out after us demanding we come back and pay our tabs. After she acuses me of trying to dine and dash we argue for a minute. I decide to go inside and find out what the hell is going on. I figured out that they didnt charge our cards and just gave them back to us with out realizing so i pay come out and go home. Some of our party had already left without knowing about this issue. 10mins later at home chillin when two clovis police officers are in my front yard and are accusing me and my party of attempting steal/dine and dash from ooi japanese restaurant. The fact that someone called the police and had them come to my house. To get the other names and phone numbers from our party so they could go back and pay. The fact that placed a fake 911 call to have the police come to my house over a bill less the 45$ is insane, absolutely DISGUSTING

Best sushi IMHO! It's a wait for food if you go during their busy hours but that's to be expected when the restaurant tables are full. The employees are all cordial as well. I don't much care for the appetizers but I'm in love with their ✨️?Orange Blossom Roll?✨️ and tbh if I'm going to Ooi it's to get sushi first and foremost anyways so yeah?
