Food was pretty good. I've had better especially when it comes to the meatballs and whats in the pho. They give less..as an example..most places do 1 meatball cut in half while this place cuts it in eighths...so you get 4 pieces but it's only half of one. Same with tendon..only had one piece. Most have 3 to 4. Price was expensive but everything has gone up everywhere. 15 dollars for a bowl of pho is okay when it's right next to my home...but I usually pay 8 to 10$...giving 4 stars because it was actually good. I'll definitely keep coming back....I almost gave it a 2 because of the service. My child is a vegetarian and they wouldn't substitute chicken for tofu in the kids menu. They made her buy an adult chicken chowmein with tofu instead. Makes 0 sense. For that reason my entire family will not eat there anymore..but I will still eat when I get the chance..alone. they were also out of orange juice..no big deal. To be fair...the guy did check up on us once...they also forgot to make my appetizer but he Apologized so no big deal

Tried this place recently. It was very good. It's a mom & pop shop, very authentic, simple, good food. The banh mi sandwiches are wonderful, very tasty. The pho is good, big portions. The service was great. I have been there several times since then and would highly recommend this place.

One of my favorite places for pho. I almost always get P2 six switches sirloin. So flavorful and everyone is so kind. Will continue to frequent.

Came here and ordered the pho king special, that comes with a massive beef rib and bone marrow, and the pho with sirloin and meatballs. Overall the broth was good and the pho came out in a timely manner. The beef bone was huge and bone marrow was gelatinous. You can also order these on the side for $5 each if you do not want both (I saw this option after ordering). Next time, I probably would just get a regular bowl of pho with the beef rib on the side as I'm not a fan of bone marrow in general. This bowl costs $25 which is pricey for a bowl of pho but the ingredients put into make it this price. The amount of noodles was also not as fulfilling as a large bowl of pho from other places in Fresno. However the portion was just the right amount for me, as eating a large bowl usually puts me into a food coma lol. The location of this shop is probably what sets it apart because there isn't really any other pho shops around this area and living near here makes it easy to get a nice, hearty bowl of pho without having to drive 20 min somewhere else. Definitely would come back if I was feeling lazy and didn't want to drive further than 20 min.

My repeated visits to Pho Vet 101 have consistently been rewarding, thanks to their prompt service and delicious Vietnamese cuisine. As a regular customer, I've been impressed by the attentiveness of the staff, particularly the main server who recognized me after just a few visits. One of the most appealing aspects of Pho Vet 101 is how it caters to the lunchtime crowd. The quick service is a boon, especially when I'm on a tight schedule. Despite the speed, there is no compromise on the quality of the food. I can comfortably enjoy my meal and return to work within an hour, making it a reliable choice for a lunch break. Regarding the menu, I've sampled both the chicken and shrimp pho, with the shrimp pho standing out as my favorite. It strikes a perfect balance of flavors, with the shrimp adding a delightful taste and texture to the dish. The broth is aromatic and rich, enhancing the overall experience of the pho. An additional treat I often indulge in is their Thai iced tea. It's wonderfully prepared, boasting the perfect level of sweetness. It's a refreshing complement to the meal, particularly on a warm day or as a sweet finish to the savory pho.

Nice little place with pretty good customer service. Unfortunately, the food is decent at best. There are about 5 solid Vietnamese spots near our place in San Diego. This place needs to up their food game for sure. We got a good sized order to go. 3 pho's, a Bahn Mi, and some stir fried noodles. The lemongrass beef Banh Mi was a disappointing sandwich. The beef had a decent flavor but the veggies were weak. Normally, Banh Mi come with bold flavored pickled daikon and carrot. That gives a good compliment to any meat. This sandwich had a tiny amount, didn't even realize it was there. Lastly, it should be on a French baguette. It did seem to be a French bread thing but something just wasn't right. It seemed to be more like a hoggie bead or something. The pho Viet 101 Special and seafood pho were decent, nothing special. It comes with the broth separate from the rest so the noodles don't get soggy. The stir fry egg noodles with seafood didn't look great and the taste was just OK. Vietnamese coffee was delicious! To be honest, we probably won't be back. But it's a decent option.

Use to be my regular place, but last 2 times I’ve ordered to go, the broth was cold. I didn’t think anything of it first time, and figured it was a minor mistake. After this time, I called and was told the broth doesn’t come warmed anymore, that you do it yourself when ordering to go. Never was like that before and never heard of any place doing this. Last time I go here.

The place is small. I ordered the pho and vermicelli bowl. It's ok. The pho broth is light in flavors so good for beginners. I didn't really like the pho noodle itself because it is soft and mushy so when you eat it, it kinda feels like it melts in your mouth. I think it's a good place for anyone who has never tried Vietnamese food. The vermicelli bowl was ok. It does have more flavors and safe for beginners.
