Randomly driving through from fresno county and decided to get a quick bite...I'm so glad I did. Food was great! Tacos were loaded with meat and the asada itself had lots of flavor. The quesabirria was delicious too but the consume is what I loved. I rarely drink/eat all the broth but I finished the entire cup today. Can't wait to pass through here again.

Got the quesabirria tacos and they were delicious. The restaurant is so cute and clean. We've already decided we'll make a quick detour from I5 to come get some food here on trips. The staff was very nice and friendly and welcoming.

The food was delicious (birria burrito and cabeza tacos) and well priced for the portions. The staff were super friendly, and their little boy was adorable and interactive. The dining area is cute and clean. We got ours as take-out, and everything was packaged so nicely! We will 100% go back.

Small place but Big on taste [Coalinga CA]If you think Coalinga is all about Harris Ranch you should drive further in to town and try the food at Taqueria Gonzalez. Indoor dining room was a modest size but they have outdoor seating as well. The restaurant is counter-service so we placed our order with the friendly (and patient) young gal as we browsed through the wall menu quickly. We chose an Asada Burrito and Asada Fries. We found an open table and before we could say "birria" our order was being served to us. The burrito was a generous size so the hubby and I split it. The radish, jalapeño, fried onions and hot sauce were served on the side. For drinks I got my favorite, the Jamaica, and hubby chose the horchata. We also shared the asada fries. French fries loaded with beans, roast beef, mozzarella cheese, pico de gallo and topped with a jalapeño. That was enough to get me full. When we think of Coalinga we think of Harris Ranch steak and cattle farm... and you'll know when you hit Coalinga by the smell. We did not go for a ribeye steak this time but we still had some kind of meat in the form of a steak burrito and steak fries ("asada" is beef) ¯\_(ツ)_/¯Review #3219

Small hole in the wall restaurant had good quesabirria tacos, and the chips and salsa was yummy.

10/10 food / service is amazing don't believe give it a try. Came here on a whim, I got the breakfast burrito with all the meats and the quesobirria tacos with the Consome and I was hooked. Try the burrito with the Consome sauce and your eyes will be opened. Definitely will be back.

Stumbled across this place looking for a delicious, authentic Mexican restaurant.I'm always skeptical of over the top yelp reviews, but this place did not disappoint.I shared a shredded beef Birria taco plate and their Birria pizza they both came with homemade chips and fresh salsa.Absolutely delicious flavors. The service was spot on friendly and efficient. The owner came out of the restaurant and introduced herself. They care about their food and their customers.I just wish this place was closer to home.

As we walked in we were greeted and they immediately took our order. The cashier went over their menu. We got the quesabirrias with consome and it was delicious. She recommended their pupusas so I got two and they were huge, very filling and flavorful. I highly recommend this local restaurant.
