The food is mediocre at best. Sorry, I'm not gonna to lie. Garlic rice a bit mushy and under seasoned. Asked for egg over medium and it was overdone! Service and staff very friendly, tho. Clean enough but dreary, no decor to speak of. The bathrooms were barricaded by shelving so we had to rush home. I had 2 items and sis had one, we bought bottled water. The bill was almost $40 (!!), but as they say... everything is getting so expensive... they could at least provide dinner sized paper plates instead of the smaller luncheon sized.

From Bayhill to Metro Colma, Manila Eatery has been my family's go-to turo-turo spot. Family owned with good Filipino comfort food. We have never been completely dissatisfied with this establishment. The flavor of their dishes is consistent while portions and pricing is subject to changes in our economy. It's a typical turn-turo where you literally point to whichever dish you want, the ambience is minimal, it's comfort food so one can't expect an upscale environment. Service is also consistent and the staff are always friendly. The trick is to know what time of day to get at their dishes, you snooze you lose. If I can recommend my top dish, it's their chicken Mungo. It's the best delivery vehicle for bagoong next to Kare-Kare.

It was my first time here The couple behind the cashier are very friendly I ordered one of their 2 item combo plate . For a $15 ( tax included) + tops I was expecting a bigger portion. They put 2 tiny ice cream scoops of rice . The food quality and taste was not satisfactory. I was so hungry and I was around the area and as always I wanted to try something new .

Manila Eatery in Colma is really good and have great service!!! Prices are reasonable and affordable, although some dishes are expensive for a Filipino dish!!! One has a wide range of choices especially if you don't eat pork! Like they gave lumpia Shanghai that's chicken or beef. Highly recommended!!

Fantastic Filipino Food!! Manila Eatery has that cafeteria-style mom and pop type feeling right when you walk in and their food is truly authentic. The 4/5 stars is just because their cleanliness could be a little better and their menu options aren't always available. I think they are still getting on their feet after COVID - a few times they have been out of some of the staple dishes (longaniza, lumpia, beef stew). It's sad because when they do have it, the flavor is on point! I'm just waiting for their standards to get back to give them that 5 stars

I almost felt disrespectful at this portion of this two item plate. $13 for two white rice scoops. Literally 2 tiny pieces of beef Kaldereta with all veggies. 2 little chicken adobo pieces Then 5 little Shanghai lumpia's for $3 probably wouldn't come backs

Unadulterated Filipino recipes. Very reasonable pricing. Wide variety of choices. Great people behind the counter. Operated & managed according to the values & demeanor of the original founder & owner. And if you were lucky enough to know the lady that's all the recommendation you would ever need.Dietary restrictions: If you have dietary restrictions don't go to a Filipino restaurant. You'll have a difficult time enjoying the food as it should be eaten. If you're willing suspend the rules, for one meal... by all means- go.
