I've been coming to this location since they opened and up to this point have had no complaints... However on my last visit I was told the waffle maker didn't work and was unable to get waffles and had to settle for pancakes. When paying I mentioned this to hostess and she seemed confused by my statement. So either I got told a lie or the worker's aren't aware of what is going on the establishment. Overall it was a decent experience and interactions with the workers.

Having breakfast at Black Bear is one of my favorite places to go to. We’ve gone randomly and for birthday breakfast celebrations. I ALWAYS ask for Xochitl to be my server because her service is always exceptional. She gets our order right and has our food arrive in a timely manner. Our coffee cups are never empty and we leave with a full belly!!! The food is delicious and her along with the other servers make it a great family restaurant!!!Vegetarian options: As a vegetarian I found it easy to get something great to eat and they have no issue making adjustments to my meals! 10/10

Seated quickly, waitress took order and disappeared, different server brought 2 out of 3 orders (forgot to bring the child's order), waited over 10 minutes for child's plate to arrive, never got a refill on coffee or iced tea, dropped off check and went on break, never saw her
