This place is a hidden gem. We had the mushrooms (delicious), French onion soup (very tasty), the French dip sandwich fries were perfect, the meatloaf was fabulous, and the bananas foster was fantastic! They have a wine flight that is very generous and over all this is a great place to eat that isn't overly expensive.

I use to love this restaurant when it was just up the street from me but it moved to Colton and so far away now the food does not have the same appeal.

They were rude and changed menu on day of,they sat people with no reservations before they sat us,and told us on phone they were only taking reservations!?! And the prices were crazy!

Need to update website. Due to Covid they have discontinued the Brunch Bar, they do have a brunch menu in place. Gonna miss that amazing brunch bar.

The Gentleman who I believe is the owner of this Amazing restaurant is absolutely genius. He came right over to our table with complete genuinity And to top off our visit the food was beyond delicious. Highly recommend to all who show interest and for those who aren't too sure...definitely will go back and be a regular visitor.

It's old. Needs to be aesthetically update. No salt and pepper shakers; small paper salt and pepper packets instead. Speaking of packets, they don't have ketchup bottle. They have packets instead. Old menus and they will charge for every little thing. Russ is the waiter and he's great. Prices are not cheap but food is good.

Sub par ingredients and an archaic 70s style vibe, jam-packed into a Carrows or Cocos building and posturing as gourmet. Years and years ago, the real owner "Jean-Pierre" thrived in San Bernardino. It was the last restaurant you expected to find in a residential neighborhood before you'd head up to Crestline. It was authentic (now dated) French cuisine. Flash forward 15 years, and the original building has been demo'd, the restaurant has exchanged hands several times. Now, the former lispy Maitre' D' from the old days (who gets manager salary and still stealing tables/tips from waitstaff) runs it. His claim to fame are some passé, booze laden, flambeéd dishes (think Jack Tripper at the Regal Beagle) set off with a click torch, tableside, and upcharged 1000 percent. Be forewarned, you will be encouraged to leave a 5 star Yelp review (before you even leave the establishment) to save you 20 percent off the exorbitant tab.

The service was great and the food was excellent. I had the chicken pot pie it was so fresh and very flavorful. My friend had the fresh catch orange roughy with mash potatoes and vegetables. He said it was very good and worth the price. I highly recommend this restaurant and I'll be back to try other meals.

I was introduced to this restaurant about 6 weeks ago. Since then I've been back five times. Three times for breakfast, one time for a professional lunch, and finally a date .The breakfast is first rate .The atmosphere is great for business, family, and dating .From a date I went there around dinner time and they had an excellent selection of wines. I didn't feel like I wasted my money even though it was a bit pricey... The food was completely worth it. This seems to be a very family run in oriented shop. Not a waste of money, time, and you will enjoy every minute of it.Next time we're back I'm going to try them mimosa and pineapple pancakes.

This was the second time we dined at Le Rendez-Vous Cafe. The first time was great and the second time was just as good if not better. The ladies ordered the duck my friend ordered the steak and I had the swordfish. All three dishes were excellent. The waiter really new his stuff as he explained how each dish was prepared. Service was top notch and perfectly timed. Drinks, bread, salads, soup and main dish came out one after another. I can't emphasize enough, the food was really good. This is now our go-to place when we want an above average meal.

At this cafe, the service is impeccable. Their staff is attentive and friendly, making you feel right at home. Cozy and inviting atmosphere. French decor and soft lighting create the perfect ambiance for a relaxing meal. Whether it's a stop for a quick coffee or enjoying a leisurely brunch, this café is a must-visit for anyone looking for a taste of Paris in the heart of the city of Colton (:
