Wow, truly an awesome place to eat. The price was more than fair for the quality and quantity of food I received. The service was above and beyond.... Friendly and very attentive to my needs and questions. I will most definitely eat at the Columbia House Restaurant the next time I'm in the area. And I have told many people about my great experience. Thanks for a spectacular breakfast.

We received overpriced poor food. My eggs Benedict tasted like eggs boiled in vinegar. Yuck. Cheerful service though. Very disappointing.

I must say that Izzy, our waitress, was phenomenal! Went twice in the span of 3 weeks. We have to drive about 90 minutes to get there but both times it was worth it. The food was tasty, service was excellent, and ambiance was fun - Izzy spun some cotton candy for my youngest and we got to watch her prepare Cherries Jubilee dessert for the table next to us. We were also treated to music played on the piano by 2 gentlemen. The other waitress, Stephanie, was also very pleasant. We were hosting an exchange student from Japan and wanted to give her an American experience - seeing Columbia State Park, having chili dogs, corn dogs and French fries, etc. Izzy and this spot did not disappoint with their hospitality. We will be back! Gotta try the garlic or Cajun fries!

If I could post less than a star I would Very poor waitressing the drinks were wrong then I ordered the special which was shrimp penne pasta she brought me Cajun shrimp eggs Benedict with hash-browns my father ordered shrimp omelette which was supposed to have spinach and veggies but just came with shrimp n cheese and his potatoes were wrong then she tells me they're out of my pasta I ordered tri tip sandwich and it came out cold and then she tries to argue with my father who was being very polite telling him he read the specials wrong which he kindly showed her and then she tells him he's so rude and not to talk to her

This establishment needs a new cook, we ordered nachos and they are were cold and had pulled pork with bbq sauce they were horrible. I have been eaten there a few times and was not impressed. The staff is very nice but omg the food is not good. I will not go back. If you want a successful restaurant your food has to quality food.

By far the best Valentines dinner experience yet, four course meal was delectable with the epiphany of quality service matched to the warm environment that I would expect on such a loving holiday. My better half and I will be ABSOLUTELY returning next year as well as keeping an open eye for other holidays, a must on the return, thanks for the quality experience!!!!!!

The Columbia House Restaurant/Bella Union. We went Wednesday night for their Valentine's Day special menu. The food was outstanding! I'm a total food snob and I thought they did a great job! You can't beat the price either, only $100 for 2 people for 4 courses. I highly recommend the short ribs with red wine reduction sauce. The pork chop with black cherry wine sauce on couscous was great too! The new (2 years ago)owners have really improved the food. If you haven't been for awhile, check it out! They are serving this special menu all weekend and you can find the menu on their page. So happy to have a "fine dining" option close to home.

We ate dinner there last night, Great menu, great food and not crowded. Perfect way to wrap up the work week. We sat down to a tasty beer fondu. Last place I went to charged extra for just bread. Nice menu selection from apps and salads to steak dinners. I had the cobb salad, tasty with nice freshly cut veggies. Two pastas and one tri tip meal were also served to our party. All very good, no complaints. Fries are a basic side test that means we will return and dine again if done right, or we won't return if cold or undercooked. We will return. Had a nice churro and ice cream dessert. The restaurant is an open cafeteria style set up, so one needs to give this historic preservation a bit of grace, it's not overly cozy. Their server was fairly new which we know only because she told us. She was friendly and attentive. We live in Columbia and so often forget about this restaurant, a silly mistake.

The food was amazing, great price for what you get. The service was even better. The ladies who waited on us were so kind and sweet. They went over and beyond to give great service. The atmosphere feels like you're at home. I would definitely go here again.

We dined at the recent recently and it was fine. Despite it being a little crowded in Columbia the hostess had us seated quickly and our waitress was extremely friendly and attentive. The food was good. My husband and I had burgers and our kids had hot dogs. It was nothing spectacular but not bad either. My reason for leaving a mediocre review was because of another waitress. She was speaking to the hostess with such contempt I was actually shocked. The hostess was doing her best managing all the groups coming in and the waitress was ripping into her in front of everyone. While we were eating the hostess was helping clear a table and the waitress, who was not serving anyone on our side of the restaurant, walked over and started getting angry with the hostess again. Management if you're listening, the waitress with a nose ring was treating your hostess with dark hair so terribly that it actually disturbed our lunch. No one should be talked to like that in the workplace or elsewhere. I sure hope the nasty behavior is addressed.
