I have loved the tea house since I was a teenager. And I'm a sucker for baked goods. Today's visit did not disappoint. New owners... and they are doing it right. The best apricot scone with clotted cream you will ever have!! Don't leave without trying the power salad. It lives up to its name. So happy to see my old co worker Iggy is part of the new ownership. Keep up the good work. I will be back!! 5 stars. Thanks. Donyl Sebold

An adorable tea house just one block from downtown Columbia. No one is too young or too old to enjoy having a tea party. Endless tea selection, good comfort food. Charming atmosphere amidst bone china tea cups and saucers and tea pots with cozies. Wonderful experience and memories.

We really enjoyed this tea house. The service was friendly and warm. The food was delicious, and the helpings were large! The tea and scones were tasty. They have very cute inside and outside seating and we sat outside. It was very busy, I would recommend making an appointment. But even with the business, food and tea was served very timely. We can't wait to come back.

I try to visit once a week on my days off. It's well priced I never feel like I've blown a hole through my wallet there. The tea selection is massive and they can serve it just about any way you like. I'm pretty sure it's family ran which adds a lot to the cozy atmosphere. I leave with a happy belly and refreshed soul everytime. 10/10 recommend.

Truly such a fun, delicious way to spend an afternoon with friends or family! The whole experience took more time than we expected, so plan to stay a while, but it was so worthwhile. The garden is so pretty and peaceful.

The power blend salad is the best salad I’ve ever had! The chicken pot pie was amazing. Scones were also delish. I can’t wait to come back and try more items on the menu. The ingredients all tasted so fresh and high quality and for such a good price.

This place is no longer the wonderful and flavorful place that I remember which is really disappointing. The tea is flavorless, food is either a hit or miss. The pastries taste very similar to a small family business I know of which are delicious but it's definitely not their own recipe, and the wait time is too long. I know one of the workers there because he also works at Diamondback which might be why orders take a while to come out. Instead of everyone else working there being chatty they should really focus on cleaning and maintaining the place. Also, I think it's unfair if the recipes aren't their own. I'm saddened as this place used to be one of my favorite places go. The owners don't seem to give any attention to this place.

This little gem is located in the historic park of Columbia. We randomly discovered this place many years ago when we went to Columbia with small children. Now we try to make it there for lunch at least once or twice a year when visiting the area. The restaurant is very small and not super comfortable, but they do the best they can with the space they have. What makes this place amazing is the bakery items. There is a small locally owned bakery across the street that provides all of the fresh baked items. You have to order the scones in the restaurant AND make sure you walk across the street to get some to take home! My favorite dish is the savory bread pudding. My family loves the pot pie. The magic is in the fresh baked items. You can't go wrong. Service is always a little slower but it's that type of place. Expect to wait a little bit for warm tea and yummy comfort food!

Always a great dining experience. Love the Chicken Pot Pie! ? ?. They serve and sell a good variety of Teas. Atmosphere is Country Quaint and the servers always pleasant. I never go elsewhere when I'm in Columbia unless Kate's is closed.

Quiet, polite, and refined, this teahouse is a freeze frame from a kinder time. Highly recommended for its service and scenery, even if it's a little out of your way, you won't be steered wrong. Savor and enjoy.

The food was wonderful as was the tea. So many options. We love the pot pies and all the sweet treats. It's our go to get together spot.
