My ratings is mainly targeting the flavours, it didn't really felt like a good burmese food. Briyani has over powering star anise taste, it is ok, but I won't say it is the nicest briyani I've had. We also ordered an appetizer and a pork dish, the appetizer was really good, nice flavors and beautifully cooked. Pork dish is overly salty for me.

We absolutely love this place! We used to live in the Bay Area and this was one of our favorite places to get takeout . We now make sure to go every time we are back in the area!! Our kids LOVE the coconut chicken soup! The minted chicken and tea leaf salad are a must! The staff is kind and courteous. We recommend it to all of our friends!

Tasty Burmese food, great service, nice ambiance, large round tables as well as smaller tables for couples and groups of 4.

Not real Burmese food. Think Americanized Chinese food. If you don’t know what Burmese food is, it won’t matter what type of food you order here. For delicious, REAL Burmese food: Burma2 in Walnut

The restaurant owner is dirty. He is from Burma and he had an affair with female employees. The food is also not authentic burmese food. It is not delicious and the employees are rude. Don’t come back here again

I got very bad experience here. I came to this restaurant to pick up order. The doors were open and I walked in. Instead of explaining that the restaurant is closed and they will open in 5 minutes. They started kicking me out and arguing with me. They started raising their voices and swearing at me.

We love this Burmese restaurant. The tea leaf salad is tasty and can give you a caffeine boost. We try to eat there at lunch time so we can get to sleep that evening. The staff are friendly and attentive. The mango chicken is another favorite dish.

The place smelt unclean and the food's texture was wrong. Low quality meat. Sauce tastes acidic.

Visited Aung MayLika due to high ratings, but was disappointed. The staff were nice, but the vegetable stir-fry and garlic noodles were subpar. All tasted stale, and the stir-fry vegetables were overcooked with a synthetic-tasting sauce. The quick service suggested pre-made dishes. Additionally, the restaurant had an off-putting odor. Unfortunately, it didn't live up to my expectations for quality Burmese cuisine.

Disappointing Experience at Aung MayLika.I recently dined at Aung MayLika, attracted by its high ratings on Google, but unfortunately, my experience was far from satisfactory. While the service from the waiter was great, the quality of the food was a major letdown. Both the chicken and beef were poor grade meat, and the flavors did not align with what I anticipated from a Burmese cuisine experience. The food also came out way too fast, which is an indication it is pre-made, old, or just poor. The ingredients were chemically and artificial flavored, leading to dishes that were not enjoyable. The place also smells really unhygienic. Don't order the red curry beef, red curry tasted so off and beef was old, dry, and way past well done. Don't order the sesame chicken, was just gluey texture and no chicken in the fried material.I believe there is significant room for improvement in both the quality of food and the overall dining environment.
