Had reservations the waited additional 40 min to sit cook didn't come out until 40 min.The front desk is Extremely unprofessional,Appetizers didn't come out until after the cook was almost finished. They also got our orders wrong and had to wait anotuer 25 min for them to correct it. The tables are filthy, Just overall horrible experience wouldn't recommend!This place used to be great not so much anymore.

BEWARE OF TIP THEY ADD BEFORE YOU GET YOUR BILL!! Since they choose to do that and not even tell me, that will be the only tip they get from me and I will write that on the receipt for them!! I probably will never go back!! There are MANY choices of restaurants these days. I hope they loose business for ripping us off!! Karma is real lol!!

The service is very slow. They delivered our appetizer during our meal. Next time will be ordering appetizers right away when they take the drinks order so perhaps will get it before the meal! The food itself was overall good, but very salty. We have been going to Benihana for many years and we will continue to go for birthdays etc but the restaurant is past its prime.

I came to this location for a quick bite during lunch time, and I figure service would be prompt due to the lack of patrons dining. Unbeknownst to me I was sat at 2:04pm and didnt receive my meal until til 3:45. I order a well done Filet migon as I am pregnant & cant eat raw meat. The food was horribly prepared and my order as well as my friends food order was incorrect. After waiting a hour and 40+ minutes, we were offered 30% off to justify the lack of attention to us and the food. I was faint after waiting so long to eat while being pregnant and not being able to consume my order. I wouldn't come here if it was my last meal before death row. Bad management and terrible cooks

Table 14 : reservation at 7:00PM I have been coming to Benihana for 11 years each year for my birthday. My experience has been great every year except for the last two times. Today I was happy and celebrating my birthday, however after tonight I think I am going to explore better options as there were a few things that made my experience terrible. First we waited for our drinks for 45 minutes. Our appetizers came as our main course was getting prepared. Soon after that we never got the sauces for the food. After that the food was great however, our chef performed only two tricks, to seal the deal with a bad experience when it came to my birthday scoop of ice cream the server never brought my spoon. So I enjoyed melted ice cream :/ I recommend try out other places as this experience was one of my worst.

Horrible service , haven't been at this place in years because of exactly what I experienced last night. Even if you have a reservation had to wait for over and hour once you get seated taken about 45 50 mins to even get the cook to your table. Host came once every 20 minutes. Didn't even get our bill correct. Never going to this place again. Only reason why we went was because it was my mom's birthday and she was upset with how ridiculous the service was.

Ordered large quantities always from here. Atleast enough for a few days of food. Found cardboard pieces in my food all throughout and last time also messed up my order seems like everytime i order they purposely mess with it....

Order was taken in good time, but what was served was a real disappointment. Minimal portions of meats and over compensating with vegetables. Real lackluster feel overall. There also appeared to be issues with other tables with the manger not making amends with the diners.

I've been coming to this Benihana location for several years now. After a long hiatus, my family and I returned to celebrate one of my family member's birthdays here. Although making reservations in advance, we surprisingly didn't have a long wait. We visited the restaurant on a late Friday afternoon and, surprisingly, it wasn't packed. My husband and I live further from this Concord location, so were a bit late (FYI they will not seat your party, regardless if you made reservations or not, until the entire party is present). Despite our tardiness, we waited briefly to be seated at a table for an early dinner. The ambiance still gives the traditional Japanese vibe, especially around the teppanyaki grills. The are other tables and seating around the bar area; however, I've never dined there since I typically order my drinks at the tables by the teppanyaki grills. Customer service continues to be quite good here. All of the staff that we interacted with, including our waitress and chef, were friendly, easy to talk to, and accommodating to our fairly large party. We didn't have to ask for refills since our waitress was making sure that all of our needs were met. Our chef also went the extra mile to keep my niece and the other children entertained while watching him cook. Initially, the waitress and the other women helping her placed some of the dishes down in front of my daughter (who is 1 year old). When she saw my little one trying to grab the bowls, she made sure not to place any of the dishes close to her to prevent her from grabbing them. As a mom, that gesture alone was much appreciated. Despite a smaller menu, the food is still delicious. I noticed some of the usual dishes that I used to order were no longer on the menu. Also, most dishes' names were only in English instead of in Japanese like before. This isn't a bad thing necessarily, just an observation that I made. They still serve the refreshing salad with the delicious dressing and the savory onion soup at the start of the meal. My filet mignon was cooked to perfection and the dipping sauce elevated the flavor to the next level. Overall, my family and I are pleased with our most recent dining experience, at this Benihana location in Concord. We will dine here again soon.

I think the cook entertainment was better than the food. Very much overrated overpriced and I've had really good Japanese and Chinese food before and the price was never like this for seven people it cost us $505.00. Totally ridiculous I will not be returning back ever.

Very bad service, cold food, horrible experience. Our rice arrived 20 minutes before our 9overcooked entree, had to request chopsticks for sushi, also had to request soy sauce and wasabi. It took very long time to get anything. Not a great birthday. I flew to CA to celebrate with family and it was embarrassing to get such crappy food and service.
