The bbq taste dry and burnt. The sause is lacking and the food had no seasoning. The service is horrible and it took Forever for her to get our food which seemed to just be sitting in a pot warmer, or rack. If I were to go here again I would just get the lobster Mac and cheese and lumpia. When going by this store I see no one Inside ever.

Ordered beef brisket but when I opened my food I was so dissapointed! Look how dry their brisket is. I don't even know what to say. It's like beef jerkey! Taste wise it was so salty.

12/16/2020 My niece bought me dinner for my B-DAY yesterday for 4, Beef Brisket, baked beans, mac and cheese, and rolls. Wow sounds great, doesn't it? got it delivered arrived on time open it and was so disappointed. let's start with the 1lb of brisket, only had 2 slices of dry cuts more like jery a bunch of cut 1/4 - 1inch dry pieces. I was expecting at least 6to 8 juice slices. the side was bland. I'll give them1 star for the food and 4star for bbq sauce. oh also got a brownie 1st and last time for me

Gone here three nights in a row!! The lobster Mac is amazing as well as lumpia !! Never too busy and wait time isn't unreasonable. Pricing is good. I definitely recommend this place!!! 5 stars!

When I saw the advertisement in my local neighborhood coupon book that there was a new Filipino restaurant opening up not too far from me, I was really excited to try it out. I wish I had bothered to read the reviews first. Unfortunately accurate.I’ll try to find the few positives first, and that is the young man at the register was a pleasant chap. Nothing wrong at all with his service efforts. My wife and I went to the restaurant in person and decided to dine in.I thought the portions small for the price, but if that were the worst of it, I wouldn’t even comment here.I ordered the pork BBQ & mac&cheese and my wife ordered BBQ & Garlic rice. The BBQ pork was dry and much too salty. Tasted as if it were made weeks ago. Do you know how old food tastes? It tasted like that. The mac&cheese were bland and the rice sour.I tried to keep eating in hopes that the food might start tasting better. Those hopes were dashed. After a few more bites, just couldn’t continue. It was awful. Sometimes if I don’t finish my food because I don’t want to take it home, I’ll give to a homeless person. I didn’t even feel that this was an option. Yes, it was that bad.Really disappointing experience. Not sure how this establishment will stay in business unless they make some significant changes and fast. You cannot afford to squander too many opportunities to gain the trust of customers after so many poor experiences. At some point the management has got to realize all the negative reviews are not an attempt to sabotage the establishment but customers being honest. It’s an opportunity to take stock of the situation and make changes or close up shop.I wanted my wife to enjoy her first experience with Filipino cuisine, but sadly it will have to be elsewhere than Berto’s.

This place wasn’t clean enough boxes all over the place. Doesn’t have people skills. I believe in golden rules

Disappointing. Huge prices and very small portions, which would be ok if the taste matched the price. Ordered green beans... they were bland and tasted like they came out of a can. Ordered Mac and cheese, paid $6 for a 1/4 cup... I could have bought a box of Kraft for less and I would have had more, paid less, and it would have tasted better too. The bbq was ok, nothing overly special, but it is the only reason they get 2 stars.

Being Filipino, I was like wow there is a Filipino restaurant near where I live which is close to Ygnacio Valley Rd. My mom, dad, and I ordered a Crispy Pata and it turned out to be a huge and I mean huge Crispy Pata. It only cost us $18. a better deal than Seafood City.

I saw this restaurant in Uber Eats and got really excited because we lack Filipino restaurants in this area. I wanted to support their business, but regret not checking the Yelp reviews from the Brentwood location before ordering on Uber Eats. The trending comments were in regards to overpriced for small portions and poor quality. It was all true. I sincerely hope the owners read their reviews because their restaurants will not do well if these aren't addressed. These are the items are ordered: Green beans with bacon $6 Brisket 1/4 lb. $7.88 Small garlic rice $5.25 6 Adobo wings $13.50 BBQ garden salad with meat $18 The green beans tasted like they were straight out of the can. The brisket was disappointing because it was dry and lacked any flavor. The best part of it was the fatty part because it had the most flavor and 1 and a half pieces for $7.88??? The garlic rice container was so small and was $5.25. I couldn't believe how small the container was. The adobo wings were so pathetic. There were 6 small pieces for $13.50 and it was salty. The salad was unbelievably overpriced. For $18, you get lettuce, shredded cheese, and meat with your choice of dressing. If you ever ate at any other great Filipino restaurant, the portions are usually generous and full of flavor because Filipinos take pride in their cooking. That's what they're known for. It was very disappointing and sadly, I will not order again.

I don't normally write reviews but I was so disappointed in this place. Ordered on doordash and the portions for the price were HORRIBLE. Lumpia was good though so they got a star for that. I will never order again tho because it's just not worth it for the price.

They took over the old Dickies place. About half of the menu is traditional barbeque items such as brisket, pulled pork, hot links, etc. They also have Filipino items such as lumpia, rice, and adobo (wings).Food was very good. We arrived just before closing, our server was cheerful and happy to help.We will certainly go back, extra star for having good lumpia in our neighborhood

Masarap! (Delicious) I was craving some Filipino comfort food. So we stopped by to grab some lumpia and garlic rice. I ordered pork and chicken lumpia. It’s so good! They fried the lumpia while I waited. So it was still crispy when I got home! They added a sweet and sour sauce on the side. It was a perfect compliment to our dinner! I’ll be going back for more! I’m so happy to finally have yummy Filipino food in our neighborhood! Btw, this was all that was left after we started eating. I forgot to take a before pick! Sorry
