Can’t believe the food here! Maharaja’s Taj Mahal should get more business for how good the food is. Nobody was in when I went. Hidden gem this place.

Really fantastic food! I just got Chicken Tikka Masala, nothing fancy, but I thought the spice blend was really well done and the chicken was tender.I hope the owner invests in a larger sign and cleams the front area up a little. It almost looks closed from the the outside and there were no other customers when I went in. I bet they would be a lot more business if it had a sign to draw people in- the food is really quite good.

This place is no longer Korean - change in ownership. It is now Indian food.

I usually don't post a review unless it has to be really good or the opposite in this case it's the opposite I picked up my order before they close for the night so I called the next day to report outta 4 dishes I ordered, 2 had like extra amount seasoning of salt in it that made the chicken Korma and Dal taste inedible I told the guy who placed my order he transferred me to the chef there he was rude after I told him how the food tasted he said dal tadka is suppose to be extra salty because of the tadka and chicken Korma he said it's b******* he don't add salt at all got super defensive n hung up on me

I'm a huge Indian conisuer and it comes from my brother and dad loving Indian food. My dad has lived in Pakistan, so he shared his love for Indian food to us. I've eaten @ naan and curry, all of the buffet, really good one in Oakland, the Himalayan restaurant near park and shop, curry bowl etc.But unfortunately while the staff and service of the food with the price of $60 for food, I'm not really impressed. You definitely get a lot to last 4 meals, and they were flavorful, but not the best Indian I would come back often. The curries might of been burnt a little as they both had the weird Smokey flavor. Maybe some will like it, but it's not winning me over. The restaurant does not look open ready. The front entrance where the pond was, is ripped out and is very empty. And when I walked on the wood floor, it was sticky. Luckily I didn't eat in. I would of forgiving it if the food was the best, but unfortunately doesn't do favors. If they want to compete, they should go to the places I mention. That park and shop himilayan is the best for the amount of rice and palak paneer ( orders saag, but its simular) Curry bowl also taste very good. And there are many Indian buffets around. It's hard because that location has not had the best of luck. They had like 3-4 Korean restaurants closed before them.In summary, the food has a lot of flavors, but I feel the best is the other places I mentioned.

Found this new gem on Clayton, called in for take out - had lamb curry, lamb biryani (was giant!,) chicken tikka masala, & tandoori chicken. Very happy with medium spice level.Fantastic find on a hot summer day, will be returning soon!

My family and I came here for dinner on their second day of opening. We were provided with excellent service and the food was amazing! My favorite dishes were the butter chicken, chicken curry, and garlic naan. We will definitely be coming back! FYI the restaurant has a 50% discount until July 7th.

As someone who knows their former employees, the current owner NEVER PAYS EMPLOYEES on time and tries to UNDERPAY them. When employees complain, the owner and manager become verbally abusive and manipulative. While they have a good cook, the restaurant should've been reported to the state labor department.
